Absolutely TERRIBLE company. After meeting several times with a sales rep, I was quoted a price for two custom windows. We had schematics drawn up in detail by Ameritech. They went back and forth with the company building the windows to work out the details to meet our needs. \r
\r
4 months after the contract was signed and my credit card was handed over to Ameritech, I still had heard nothing back from them. I kept contacting the sales rep who now wouldn't respond to me. I finally called someone else and after several hours they called me back and said that the manufacturer was never able to make me the custom windows because they never actually had the capability to make the specific shape that was needed.\r
\r
How in the world did Ameritech draw up schematics of the windows and have the manufacturer approve them (at approximately $3,000 per window) only to have them come back and say they were never able to make them in the first place? And why did it take 4 months of me trying to contact anyone to find this out?\r
\r
Very dishonest business to have done this to me. I even said to the sales rep when we signed the contract that the mark of a good business isn't what they do when everything is right but what they do when something goes wrong, and he agreed. And yet when this sale went wrong, the company ignored me. I think you just admitted to me via that sales rep that you are a bad business, Ameritech.
