Let me start by saying thank you to those who were involved in my carpet purchase......I shoped around and most places tried to pull wool over my eyes, by including the labor in in the price of the carpet.Wow what a mark up.Jermey never jerked me around,didnt try to sell me cheap carpet with high prices and no gimmicks.Thank you for being honest and true to your word.I will always come back to ameri carpets for my floor coverings.\r Thanks,Dave Penrod more

I have had Americarpets do work in my house many times over the years, i recieved great service from Mr Buckway and From Mr Strong. I would recomend anyone to have them install the flooring in thier home.\r Americarpets have a great selection of flooring many items to choose from. the installers were very professional and fast. more

Americarpet installed both the tile and carpet in our new home. A bit over a year later, the carpet is puckered in various areas and the Master Shower is leaking to the basement and has been unuseable for 2 months now. Another customer of our builder, Rainey Homes, has had a similar bad experience with Mr Buckways carpet laying lack of care and quality. Mr Buckway- owner of Americarpet will not stand by his work. Two different tile contractors as well as a professional carpet installer have looked at our problems with Americarpets work and have stated that the work Amercarpets did was substandard- especially the carpet. Since I was getting the runaround from Mr Buckway regarding the tile isssue, I personally contacted the Americarpets sub-contractor who laid the tile and he has agreed to take a look at it. Please be advised that said repair estimates are in excess of $2000.00! and Mr Buckway refuses to participate in our costs. Hopefully the sub-contractor cares more about the quality of his work and customer satisfaction than Mr Buckway does.\r Cons: Not quality work. more

2 years ago we built our home and used Americarpet of Layton for our flooring. We spent over $10,000 on hardwood floors from them. They installed it and it looked fair. After 1 month the boards began to separate and we called them to see what to do. They promised to send the installed up to look at it, which never happened. We called every week for over a year and they never talked to us about it or came to look at it. It has been 2 years now since we built the house and the floor now looks so bad we would like to take it out and replace it. If you're going to do hardwood floors, don't use Americarpet. They don't know how to install it correctly and what's worse, they don't care enought to fix it if they mess up. more
