Recently purchased a tire from the S. Cushman location and will not be returning anytime soon. It took them 3 1/2 hrs to put 1 tire on a rim ( first 2 hrs the tire sat against the wall b/c they hadn't had a chance to get to it yet, although i was watching them work on a car that came in 45min after I did)after sitting around for 3 1/2hrs i walked over to the service department again to find out the tire had been done for almost an hour and no one had even tried to contact me. When I tried to pay for the tire so i could get it and leave, i find out the reason no one contacted ma was b/c they couldn't find the paperwork. I had to walk back and forth from main office to service department trying to find the paperwork while the employees just sat around.. Finally after 30min the sales associate finally rings me up even though paperwork was never found. When i went to the service area to pick the tire up and told them they still cant find the paperwork on it, the responce i got was "well th more

quick and reliable, these guys know what they are doing. the friendly service you receive there is just a bonus. However, as with most places, they were expensive. more

We have gone in to have stones removed from our wheels when they are grinding and they will do the car immediately and willingly. Very helpful, friendly and a good place more

Although we never used their services, I talked various times on the phone with these guys regarding specific automotive questions because our car is in Fairbanks for the year, with neither myself or my husband around to look after it. The person on the phone has always been nothing but helpful in answering our questions and seemed to give us the honest truth about what we should and shouldn't do. They seemed willing to help us out in any way possible and when we return to Fairbanks we plan on taking our car there for a major checkup! more

I really like doing business with these guys. They are fast on any work I have done there, and have made a special effort to repair a tire while I waited because I was "on call" for my employer. more

When we needed tires, American Tire was the first place we went, and we are so glad we did. We were treated very well and we were given a great price on a new set of tires. When they installed them it was very quick and they also do free rotations. If our tire ever gets a flat (although it hasnt happened yet) we just bring it here and they will fix it. Nice guys!
