I'm a first time gun buyer. American Shooters were cheaper than all the other gun shops I called to and they had a nice selection. Employees were professional and knowledgeable....

American Shooters is a great place. These comments are directed to it's customers. Hey, people, do you really write like that? I mean, run-on sentences, punctuation that looks like a third grader's? These are people who own guns? Is this really the way Las Vegans speak and write? Very Friendly and Great advice!! 10/21/2010

i was a first time gun buyer, they were very friendly, very willing to help me out. i bought my first gun there and ammo and they gave me a killer deal, the ppl at the range are also very helpful, they have shown me a number of things with my gun, and they are always more then willing to help you if you have any ? more

Way overpriced! 9/26/2010

Great place to look at guns to see what you want, but don't buy here. They have a nice inventory but the prices are way higher than elsewhere. The staff is ignorant, they must not make enough money to buy good guns themselves because they know nothing about the higher end pieces. I will never buy another item in this store again. more

nice range but that's about it.the rangemasters are rude especially this little Asian one that looks like he is 12 yet is very condescending and speaks to you as if you were an infant. Guns are overpriced and will not return more

Supports women's shooting/competitve shooters 3/7/2009

Very supportive of members. Has free range time for women on Wednsdays , open match every other Thursday at 7PM. They are very busy on weekends, if you shoot every other week or more it is best to pay for a membership and get priority range time and 10% discounts on everything else. The more you hang out the better you get to know everyone and the better they get to know you. Range Staff is always helpful but sometimes overwhelmed by the crush. more

I'm a first time gun buyer. American Shooters were cheaper than all the other gun shops I called to and they had a nice selection. Employees were professional and knowledgeable. They walked me through the whole process, made it easy, and provided great advice. Definitely check them out! more

Their prices will make your head explode, but the range is good 10/18/2007

As a local, I often use American Shooters' indoor range. If you go during off hours during the week, it can be near-empty, which is great. The range masters are polite and helpful. But DO NOT buy guns here! Their prices are expensive to the point of absurdity---$150-$200 more than other shops in town. I also found some of the gun store folks a bit rude and pushy. If you are shopping for guns, The Gun Store on Tropicana is a much better choice. One big plus: the have range rules in Japanese and I saw a Japanese speaking range master there more than once.
