I had a somewhat unsuccessful hair removal package with them. This bothered me a lot because it was expensive and time-consuming, but they have offered to do other treatments for me. It would have been nicer for them to do this up front instead of giving me the cold shoulder for a while about a refund. The Velashape works pretty well and the chemical peels/skin tightening are fantastic. I had compliments from customers in the lobby about how good I look. I have changed my opinion about this place. Let's hope it sticks! more

SCAM.....DON'T WASTE ANY OF YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!! HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 3 YEARS AND SPENT OVER 3500.00...FOR LASER HAIR REMOVAL....I STILL HAVE HAIR AND STILL HAVE TO SHAVE......SCAM, SCAM, THEN THEY OFFERED FOR ME TO COME BACK FOR MORE TREATMENTS BUT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY 50.00 FOR EACH HOUR. I have just completed my first year of treatment at ALC and the results have been great. The technicians are very friendly and professional and really try to put you at ease. I would definitely recommend this ALC location. more

Just started going to ALC a few months ago for the microderm-abrasion. I have seen an definite change in the appearance of my skin. It is defiantly more vibrant and clear. Any breakouts I have had are very slight and not nearly as noticeable as they use to be. It is kind of expensive, but I was able to manage it with a reasonable payment plan. I've never been very confident to walk around without makeup on, but I feel confident now when I do! more

I absolutely love American Laser Centers. I have been a client at ALC for over 2 years. I've had multiple areas of hair removal in which I don't have to shave anymore. I refer everyone I know to american laser. All of my family and friends that are having treatments love it just the same. Noone realizes what it is like to not have to shave anymore when you' ve had black course hair. After years of razor burn, ingrowns, and cuts.. I am so happy that I made the ivestment and had these treatments. My mom and myself have also had the skin tightening done, and I must say I've received so many compliments on my skin appearance. I love all the treatments the girls at the overland park clinic do for me. I am now doing there cellulite treatment in which I have lost 1/2 inch in just 2 treatments. Not only am I happy with the treatments, but the girls at this clinic are wonderful. I know each one of them and look forward to seeing them when I have a treatment. I am over 50 and single again after being married for 26 years, and these girls have given my my self esteem back. I strongly recommend this clinic to everyone I know. I've been going here for 2 and a half years for hair removal on my face. I have yet to see ANY results. Every time I go and voice my frustrations, I hear another story about what they're going to do different next time. New lasers, different lasers, double passing. It's impossible to get hold of anyone. They don't answer their phones and no one returns your calls. Every time I go, every 8 weeks, it's a new girl doing the treatments. Makes me nervous, but I've already given them A LOT of money. After looking around on the web about this place, I realize I made a mistake in coming here. Two and half years ago, after doing my research, I didn't see any complaints about the problems I'm having. Now I see it's more than just me. And when I say to them, each treatment visit, that I've had NO hair loss, they seem surprised and say that never happens. Cons: All of it more

Stay as far away from this company as possible. I worked for them at one time and the things I witnessed were absolutely horrendous. I had to quite this job because I literally couldn't sleep a night from the guilt I felt knowing that I was contributing to the crimes that this place commits all over the country. The girls that work here have next to NO laser training. They are usually estheticians yes, but estheticians are not trained on how to use lasers more then reading a few pages out of a textbook. They will tell you that ALC puts them through training. I worked for one of the highest grossing clinics and my training consisted of watching one demonstration of the laser one time One of the treatments, I was the one being demonstrated on. I had goggles on the whole time so I couldn't see anything that was going on and that was still the only training I got on it. Oh, and you take short quiz on paper that they give you the answers too. Burns are a weekly occurance and their is nothing as a client you can do about it as I assure you your rights in regards to that are signed away on your consent forms. But nothing comes close to the way these women are taught by this company to scam people out of money. If someone could go undercover and record the practices that are standard ways of doing things by this company I swear to God they would go under so fast its not even funny. Even better, have someone record the presidents of this company's conference calls. The more money you can get out of people means the more respect and koodo's you get. The way he talks about the customers that pay for his private jet would scare you. It's not a coincidence that the clinic managers are always women in their early to mid 20's, first job out of college. It allows the snakes that run this show to convince these girls that this is just the way business is done. My boss only 24, and she was literally brain washed by this company.
