American Laser Skincare Carrollwood

I signed up for this CitySearch account just to warn people about American Laser. I agree with 'Unhappy Client.' DEFINITELY think twice before spending your money with them. I spent over $2,000 for facial treatments--laser and microderms and would not do it again. They are unprofessional and rude. They never answer their phones, do not return calls...leave you sitting in the waiting room for over 15 minutes...no one around, they don't even know you're there as they are in the back 'somewhere'... I had to call their 800 number several times because I thought they had gone out of business when I hadn't heard from anyone in days--and I was calling because I was having an adverse reaction to the laser...no idea what to do...it was horrible. They did my laser treatments--and after leading me to believe they had done them many times...I found I was their first! They had no idea what to do or expect. It was horrible. I wish I had gone to a 'professional.' Do get a second opinion, do shop around!!!! more

I could not recommend American Laser. I had a contract with them and they shut down the local facility with no notice; and I will now have to drive 1 1/2 hours each way to a new location to finish the contract. American Laser and the Carrolwood office are extremely poor with Customer Service. They do not return calls and that includes their Regional Manager. After many attempts to talk with someone and resolve problems they never gave me the courtesy of a return phone call after several weeks. If you do work with them, be sure not to take their word for anything, be sure to get everything in writing and find out what happens to your contract if they shut down. more

Don't be fooled. Just because this is a big company, does not mean they have the best lasers. I have had many treatments at American Laser Center and have seen ABSOLUTELY NO RESULTS!!! Keep in mind that I have VERY DARK hair. I have went to two other laser hair removal centers and have seen AMAZING RESULTS...nearly 95% of active hair follicles killed in just ONE TREATMENT!!!! DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT AMERICAN LASER CENTER!!!! REPORT THIS PLACE TO FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION!!! AND STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL!!! more

This is clearly a company that does not care about ethics or customer care and obviously never heard of the concept that is much cheaper to keep a customer, especially if it's a happy one, then to acquire a new one. Word of mouth is the most powerful, effective type of advertising. Returning voicemails is unheard of. Tracking down a customer’s chart after their 3rd and 4th visits is near impossible. I truly have never been treated more poorly by an organization. more
