Do not know, or have ever heard of a ""Sunnflower"" buying a Home from American Homes.\r It is interesting that ""Sunnflower"" below, indicated that she or he bought a modular home from American Homes, but immediately recommends the Clayton Sulpher Springs dealer to buy a home from. The Clayton Sulpher Springs plant sells low end homes and does not sell Modular Homes! I Think that reviews are valuable, however, not when your competition is posting negative things about another dealer.\r \r American Homes has been in business since 1988, and has delivered over 8,200 homes in 26 years and has a BBB rating of A+ more

I purchased a very expensive modular home from this dealership. When you spend the same amount as you would have with a stick built home, you have high expectations. You expect to be treated with respect. You expect a higher level of organization and professionalism than if you had purchased a standard manufactured home. I have been disappointed on all fronts. The management of this dealership is completely lacking in organizational skills, management skills, customer service skills, as well as, an overall lack of professionalism and polish. You get the hard sell and promises of a fantastic home that is the same quality as stick built, but that goes out the window after you close. You will receive the home you ordered, but, the work done on site will be as little as possible, the quality will be lacking and dealing with management, at this point, is difficult and disapppointing. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have purchased my home from Clayton homes , the manufacturer, in Sulphur Springs. It's worth the extra drive to deal with the manufacturer directly and have employees that are trained in professionalism and back up their promises. more
