We are so upset with furniture Galleries located on 2336 Auburn Boulevard, Sacramento, CA that we have contacted our attorneys!!! \r
This has been our first furniture buying experience and has been a nightmare!!!\r
This is why :\r
\r
Reason 1: We purchased 21,000 dollars of Aico furniture for our new home and almost half of the furniture we bought was delivered damaged \r
2 glass couriers \r
An Entertainment center \r
One of our night stands \r
An approximate total of 10,000 dollars in damaged and undelivered furniture…\r
\r
Reason 2: It has been 3 months since we have purchased our furniture and we still have not received all our furniture. We are still waiting on our drawer courier. \r
So it has been 3 months and they have given us the run around. They have not been direct with us in terms of properly handling this situation. They offered to repair the furniture…but do you think it is right or fair to pay retail price for damaged goods. I don’t. We have waited and waited finally we requested to return the damaged furniture and cancelled the piece of furniture that was never delivered three months later and we are still in limbo.\r
\r
Reason 3: Due to the current situation, the finance companies are harping at us because they want to bill us for furniture that is damaged and has not been delivered. To top it off one of the contracts they gave us to sign was a cancelled contract between the finance company and Furniture Galleries which has the finance company harassing us calling us at work for paper work that furniture galleries should have provided them with!! They have very poor communication and protocols when it comes to working with their finance companies. We have been slammed in the middle of furniture Galleries and their finance companies with furniture galleries taking no action in 3 months. \r
\r
Reason 4: We have also become very skeptical about purchasing Aico furniture. Aico prides themselves on being the Mercedes of furniture but all we got was cheep damaged lemons!!! The Aico factory at this point has refused to take back or simply replace their damaged furniture. At least that is what American furniture galleries has told us.\r
We are so sick of it and have demanded they take their damage furniture back. They have left us no choice but to contact our attorneys.\r
What happened to good ol’ customer service and trying to please the customer..Ok forget about pleasing the customer why not just do what is right!!!! \r
\r
Out of this whole nightmare the only positive aspect of this situation was our sales associate Galym whom was very helpful patient and very professional. That is the only reason why I have gave them one star and also because I had to in order to right this review. It is ashamed that even though he worked very hard and delivered optimum customer service He has lost a life time customer due to his company’s unprofessionalism and inadequacy. Al least while he works at Furniture Galleries because we will never step foot in that gallery to purchase furniture again. However, it is sad to say that the negative has highly over passed the positive….\r
I hope they reflex back at this situation and figure out how as a company they can efficiently and effectively handle issues between their factory, their finance companies, and the customer’s concerns!!!! \r
