American Freedom Maids

I used to work for American Freedom Maids a couple of years ago, I'm ashmed to say!!! The girs I worked with most of the time came straight from the hood!!! I did'nt feel comfortable working with them for the fact most had an on going drug problem!!! CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT LEAVE ANY SCRIPTS LAYING AROUND PRESCRIPTION OR OTHERWISE!!! THE OWNER IS A VERY RUDE B----!!! I know for a fact one of the girls stole some viccodine from a customer!! The customer called to tell Linda and the girl was sent to the clinic!!!She herself told me she didn't pass but did not lose her job!!! I quit screeching tires and all and that was one of the best decisions I have made!!! more

Horrible service. They are rude at the office, and can't seem to run a business well. They cut corners, use a duster to clean surfaces instead of rags, they are very lazy and you have to watch your things. They are not worth the money. It's like $74 an hour but they make you pay for 1hr and 15 minutes which comes out to be $96. They don't stay that long, not even close to an hour sometimes, the office calls them and makes them rush through the job because they have to get to another one. The maids look very unprofessional and sometimes I didn't even want them to come in. I have had many things come up missing, nothing was done. One day they just didn't even show up I called after 15 minutes pass the time they were suppose to be there and they said I cancelled even though I didn't they said that I was scheduled for another day, I made them make time to come in which again was another rush job. Food crumbs still on floor, didn't make beds, and a lot of other things. I wouldn't use them ever again Pros: Very good first clean. Cons: Horrible Service after the first clean. more

some of the girls they hire are thieves and lazy stealing from customers homes. lazy service taking short cuts wipe here not there missing lots off areas while cleaning homes doing half jobs if the room looks clean do'nt clean it and if the office call to rush you to the next house you realy get a rush job, and the way they did the confirmation time no lunch breaks or breaks at all unless the car brokedown,they always took drive time from the girls,so count your household goods and check thier work. from a former employee Pros: they do have some good maids that I worked with whom are very good Cons: but a few I worked with need to be cleaned up or out more

The ladies from American Freedom Maids did a good job in our house. It was not bad, nor was it exceptional. I would say average. They charge $78/hr, but have a minimum of $96 for 1hr 15 minutes. The ladies didn't stay the full time, but told me to look through the house to find extra things to clean, which was fine. Unfortunately, I didn't find the ""extras"" until after they left. They didn't dust in all places. I found cracker crumbs (from my son's goldfish crackers) still on the floor, and they only cleaned one side of the window. The sliding glass door was completely filthy on the outside from my son and dog. Also, I found a coupon for $20 off first clean that had no disclaimer on it stating a minimum clean time. At first, the ladies would not take it. I called the main office and the supervisor was nice, however, said she needed to call me back. She never did! I had planned on using them again, but will not. At the very least, she should have offered to honor my coupon to gain business and taken the coupon off the website from where I got it. Not very customer friendly. If they do this, then what other things will they do in my home? more
