My Tech was Ben and he was absolutely Fantastic!! more

The worst, will never call them again. Ben's attitude was smug and condescending. It started from the phone call, where he was hard to understand and told me he couldn't come for 2 days. When I asked if there was anything sooner AND I told him the exact problem as explained to me by the manufacturer. He said he could come the next morning. Nothing about costs for parts which he said he had on hand, nothing about his service charge. Just ""I'll be there between 10 and noon."" When he arrived he acted as though he was doing us a favor but that ""this might not solve the problem..."" Really? Did I need the lesson on how things get repaired? Then he said it would be $250! The part was $100 and his labor would be $150. When I asked if his hourly rate was $150 he said ,""that's what things cost these days."" Had I known, I would have called another company. I wish I had checked the reviews before I called. HORRIBLE experience from what should be a ""service"" company. more

Our range has no power so we called these guys to come and see if they could fix it because a year or so ago they had fixed our dryer. The appt was for 11-2 on a Saturday. We arranged our morning to be home. I was called at 10:45 to tell me that our home was OUTSIDE their coverage area!! WHAT?? They have already come here. The guy said he didn't know why they had scheduled us in the first place. Well let me tell you.... it was the SAME guy! He was hard to understand the first time and just as hard to understand the second time. There was no mistake that it was him. They are in Round Rock and don't service our Pflugerville rural area because we have a Coupland mailing address?? C'mon. Look at a map! Never again with these people. If they are not bright enough to pull up Mapquest, I don't need them looking at my appliances. Cons: Cannot figure out where they service... more

My girl friend had a refrigerator stopped working early this month. She made a service call. They sent a serviceman fairly quick and he could fix it in 5 min because it was a simple problem. more

My refrigerator was messing up. I called several appliance repair places and either their service calls were expensive or no one could check out my refrigerator for days... I called American Eagle. By that afternoon Mike showed up. He quickly found out what the problem was (the ""board"" had gone out). He took the time to explain and visually show me what the problem was. He had the parts and fixed it within minutes. Mike was extremely professional and cleaned up after himself. His customer service exceeded all my expectations. Now, I thought the total bill was a bit pricy ($348.00), but I don't know what the cost of a ""board"" is or even what his hourly rate was, so it may have been that it was a fair price. I know the service call was just $49.99, which is way better than some other appliance repair guys. As for Mike - he knew his stuff! Two thumbs up for American Eagle Appliance Repair!
