American Cleaners

Unfortunately, I worked at this atrocious excuse for a business. This business has the WORST customer service I have ever seen. I have seen many longtime customers leave because Customer Service was so horrible.They will not work with a customer to find a resolution and always have the mentality that the garment must have come in with said flaw. American Cleaners routinely loses garments, refuses to accept responsibility when items are damaged by the machines and never refund a customer's money. Half the time, they don't even dryclean garments, instead throw them into the washing machine. And they charge the same price for this, even when it could be done at home. They find ridiculous ways to tack on additional charges, like 20 cents a pleat for any pleated item. I would never recommend this cleaners to ANYONE. more

Had 3 items in a row with problems. Pair of pants hemline fixed but had to finish what they didn't. Had the lining of a pair of pants ripped. Had dirt on another pair of pants and they said it wouldn't come out. Went to car, cleaned it up, showed them. After getting home, found dried brown water marks on them. Went back to get items just dropped off because I was afraid they would ruin those and they said it was too late. Absolutely terrible service. Didn't offer any resolution even after telling them I'm taking items just picked up to another dry cleaners to fix their mistakes. Cons: ruins clothes, won't try to fix mistakes more

Clothes came back smelling like dirty laundry. One coat I sent back twice. First they claimed they couldn't find it, then they returned it just as dirty as when I dropped it off. I asked for a refund, and they wouldn't give me my money back. I also asked for them to sew a tear on a sweater. They gave it back demanding payment, and I pointed out the tear was still there. They realized it hadn't even been fixed. Completely disorganized, horrible, horrible horrible. Don't go there. more
