Not long ago I brought a piece of jewelry here to inquire about selling, and I was aware of it's worth beforehand. In spite of it's value, the owner, Linh, offered me less than what the platinum alone was worth by weight, and didn't even take into account the diamonds in the jewelry. I immediately felt an awful feeling, like something was wrong and she should not be trusted. She told me that was all she could offer for it and that ""They had to pay their light bill and would need to make money off of it."" She kept repeating that. I told her that I was not in need of the money and in no rush to sell, (I just wanted my jewelry back and wanted out of there..) but she wouldn't give it back to me. She then offered me more cash (still less than the platinum value), but I refused and said I said I was not going to sell. She continued to push me and make me feel rushed into selling, as if she was trying to get me flustered or get me to break simply to force her to stop asking. She finally gave it back to me when she realized it wasn't working.
