We recently completed our first week-long adventure in a rental from AARV. We had such a fun, positive experience that we plan to do it again after the holidays. Please don't rent from AARV Rentals. If you have an issue with the RV, you will not get a resolution and will be on your own! Good luck\r \r We rented from AARV and the owner Jeffrey was real nice to us but once we had a problem, it became confrontational and it was as if we were to blame. The RV we rented had some mechanical problems. The worst was that the brake lights on the RV didn't work. I knew my electrical was fine because I had towed earlier that year. When I called him to get a resolution. He said ""well drive carefully"", there is nothing I can do, I am out of town. So we drove all the way to the coast (7 hours) during a busy holiday weekend without brake lights. Also the satellite didn't work and the RV was not cleaned very well. There were clothes and misc items still in the RV cabin -signs it wasn't checked out and cleaned real well.\r \r My biggest issue is that he didn't work with me to get another RV that had working break lights. When I went up to the rental location to ask for a swap of RV's, he was already gone on a road trip and couldn't help me out.\r \r ok, you are wondering.. I'm the idiot for driving 14 hours round trip without brake lights. I know... I learned me lesson. I should have postponed my family vacation to make sure I had a safe RV. more

I had a great time on a road trip when we used American Adventure RV Rentals. I didn’t think it would be comfortable staying in an RV but I guess my perceptions were way off. It was roomy yet cozy, clean, and I didn’t feel like a goldfish in a bowl. Changed my mind about road trips forever. Thank you. more

Love this place!! We’ve rented from Jeff several times over the past couple years and we wouldn’t rent from anyone else. We checked out other local RV rentals in the area and their RV’s were in bad shape. Jeff has a great selection of RV’s to choose from and they are all very clean and well maintained. We received top notch customer service too. Our family created wonderful memories on our trips and we can’t wait to hit the road again! more

I have rented from Jeffrey on multiple occasions and have been thoroughly impressed with each experience. The RV’s are top quality and clean. Jeffrey has been fantastic about the orientation process and answering any phone calls about questions. He has been very prompt and responsive in addressing any issues that were encountered on the road. Overall, they have been great adventures. I am hooked on RVing and will continue to use American Adventure RV Rentals. more

We rented one of their RVs and I took my family on a road trip to the lake. The RV was clean and spacious. Everything worked and we ended up having a really fun trip. Would have worked out differently if we weren’t comfortable. Great decision to come here. more

DON'T RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! ALSO CALLED AMERICAN ADVENTURE RV RENTAL ... Rented a 2006 Monoco Knight Rv from Jeffery super nice in the office but 2nd day into what will be my fathers last vacation we broke down in Kansas spent 3 hours first day getting oil, air & fuel filters changed only to chug down the fwy at 45-50 spent next 3 days in two more shops trying to get on our way with Jeffery sending another RV which broke down in Oklahoma THAT ONE NEVER MADE IT TO US!! So we had to skip the first Part of his trip to make it to the rest which was RUSHED - had trouble with the generator the whole trip - leveling equipment didn't work - washer was missing door - mirror was falling off - satellite tv & radio didn't work - rattled an was so out of balance the you couldn't hear the person next to you!! Soo much more not enought space. When Jeffery told me to leave the F....ing RV on the side of the road an he would come an get it -WE KNEW THEN WE HAD TO HELP OURSELF!!!!!! When I took it back he said hello and when I answered back with the things that were wrong he told me that he didn't have to listen to me because I had an attitude. GET OUT !!!!!! By the grace of GOD we finished the bucket list trip for my dad despite JEFFERY !!!!!!!! I'm posting this in hopes that I can save another family from having to go thru what my family did :/. Jeffery knew what this trip meant to my family an was so rude an disrespectful it makes me WISH I HAD READ THE OTHER REVIEWS before I rented NOT after!!!!!!!\r \r I have pictures videos an a stack of bills related to being broke down that he refused to pay saying "" it's not my fault you broke down and your so far passed Kansas so get over it!!!!\r more

This business rents great RVs. My family of 4 took an RV all around Texas, and the RV was a great way to travel. Great gas mileage for the size and all the advantages of easier camping. The staff provide a really nice environment with friendly and efficient service. It allows you to go anywhere in the desert you want, not tied to hotel locations. We spent a glorious night right under the stars, under the deep dark night desert sky, and the heater in the bus kept the kids warm at night. I recommend this company to anyone wanting a convenient desert camping experience. more

Renting from AA RV Rentals was nothing short of great service. My family and I knew nothing about them and they gave us a very detailed and thorough walk through before we left for our trip. Even during our trip we called in to be reminded how to operate the various equipment on the RV and we were always connected to someone who was happy to help us. You just do not find this type of quality service anymore. more

American Adventure RV made my family reunion a ton of fun. Anybody who knows how stressful and busy family reunions are will tell you there is a ton of coordinating and frantic phone calls to everyone. We trekked all the way from Austin to the bayous of Louisiana in our RV rental with no problems. The kids at the reunion loved exploring it and running all through it. We even let the kids camp in there one night and they thought I was the coolest Mom ever. A big thumbs up for American Adventure making my family’s adventure so memorable. more

We booked our RV through this company with a lot of time in advance for a special event out in Austin. They worked with us the entire time to handle all the details for our trip. They made sure we had everything in order, even down to the cooking utensils, chairs, and food storage. The RV was clean and very well maintained. It looked like nobody had EVER used it before. more

My girlfriend and I couldn't be happier with our experience with AARV. This was our first time to rent an RV and you guys took the time to make sure we were comfortable with all the functions of the vehicle, and made us feel welcome to reach them personally during our trip if we had any questions.. We did our homework before settling on AARV and really liked the set price that didn't charge you extra per mile traveled, Their rates were the best in Austin and the rental we had worked great.They were flexible with pick-up time and drop-off time. But all in all it was just a great experience they took the time to make us feel really good about the whole thing. more

We went on a camping trip with one of their RVs and it was fantastic! Jeff came through for us with the exact 26ft camper that was advertised. It was roomy and clean and everything we expected. I was nervous about towing it, but after he gave me a short training session it ended up being so easy I don't know what I was worried about. I'd rent again because it's not like I have 25 grand to spend on an RV anyway! more
