I am very disappointed in the way I was treated by Shirley when I returned after buying a dwarf bunny. I went with my children to purchase a dwarf bunny 9 days ago. I waited outside the store for 1 hour, the store opens at 11a but no body arrived until 11:40am. I waited until I met the owner Shirley. I explained I wanted a dwarf bunny. She sold me the cage, food, water bottle, vitamin water, and the hay. However, the bunny was not there. She advised she would call me upon it's arrival, which she did 5 hours later, I then asked my adult sister to take my daugther to pick up the dwarf. At this time they picked it up and no instructions where given. Briefly to hang up the bottle and feed it. So we did. Day after day the bunny would not poop and was having difficulty drinking water, I waited again, researched on the internet and then returned to the store to advise Shirley of this. I WAS concerned. We explained that the dwarf was not pooping or drinking water, Shirley said is the bunny moving around? is it acting normal? we said yes, however, it DOES NOT POOP! my daughter's friend went with us and explained that her dwarf poops all the time, Shirley laughed at her and said that we just don't know what the poop looks like. To bring the bunny back if it seemed of concern to us. The following day I could not take the bunny because my grand mother that is 100 years old went to emergency due to a heart attack, so then today we get home and the DWARF BUNNY IS DEAD! My children and I have not stopped crying this is disgusting..how you can sell an animal without giving the customer proper instructions on how to care for it.
