I'm so happy I found this very nice coffee house. Really relaxing and you could think a lot of things while having a cup of good taste coffee.

I got the Alterra holiday pack as a gift this year. It was just a bunch of dried out, lightly roasted, stale coffee beans. I realize that they have to roast that stuff months in...

I realize that they have to roast that stuff months in advance, but we're talking Hills Brothers here. Pros: They are the only game in town along the lake, unless you bring your own. Relax at Alterra 2/14/2006

One of my favorite discoveries in Milwaukee was Alterra Coffee Roasters. After strolling along Lake Michigan, this is a great place to stop and relax with fellow joggers, bikers, and roller-bladers. While the menu is limited, Alterra offers healthy sandwiches and snacks, including delicious smoothies. Pros: Good coffee, tons of outdoor seats, healthy snacks Cons: Limited menu more

why alterra sucks 5/13/2005

Alterra has the worst coffee It's badly roasted, cheep product that they sell for a bunch of money. People only go there because it's not Starbucks, not because it's good. They can't even make an espresso drink correctly, let alone one that tastes good. People should try any smaller roaster, except Alterra, and see what they're missing. Pros: Not a corporation, ye Cons: Bad, Badder, Worst more
