My mother is enjoying her stay 2/6/2011

My mother has been at Altercare for the past three years. I can only speak highly of the facility. All of the staff, from Housekeeping to Administration know my mother and I on a first name basis. Staff that I havent seen before will always greet my mother as we walk down the hall. I cared for my mother in my home for many years and was very nervous about placing her in a facility. The nursing staff is very attentitive to my needs as well as their administration. The facility is also neat and clean. My mother has not had much of an appetite but the facility always trys to offer her a variety of foods. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you Altercare for providing care to our seniors! more

It's just Okay. 11/2/2010

Well, i do suggest speret hall, i do like the Aides and some of the nurses. I hear speret hall is great but i think they need a activity person there all the time so that the aides can have one on one time with families. I dont like that fact that there isnt enough help, they are aways short. I wouldnt refer this place to anyone because the administration is horrific. When the administrator walks in the halls you know that people dont like it. i do believe this place could be good without the administrator. From observing this place it looks okay but defintley if you can put ur family in an assisted living or AFC home i would do that. more
