Do not let Linda make anything for you or touch your clothes for that matter. I had her to make five bridesmaid dresses...4 dresses were too big...1 dress was too small. Her excuse was she makes them big in order to fit the women later. Makes no sense to make a dress as much as 20 inches, yes that is right, 20 inches too big when you are provided with measurements and two of the women Linda took the measurements herself. The dress that was too small, she said she made a mistake and would let the dress out so that my sister could zip the dress up. Not only were the dresses not the right size but they were not sewn correctly. The stitching was horrible and sloppy. The dresses also had materials (such as boning, interfacing) that the pattern called for but she did not put in the dresses. Her excuse was I didn't tell her to put those materials in the dresses. As far as I know, the seamstress is supposed to tell you what goes into a dress, NOT you tell her. I made a mistake by paying her before I realized all the problems and she would not give me my money back. Mind you this was only a few weeks before my wedding. I had given her 4 months to make dresses. Had to end up getting my aunt who came in from out of town for my wedding to work on the dresses. My aunt worked on them half the night before my wedding day. It was a very STRESSFUL time but we pulled it off. Anyway do not trust Linda at Alterations by Linda to make anything for you. She is claiming she can make clothes but she really doesn't know how .
