Christy does a beautiful job on every piece! I would trust her with any type clothing. I didn't know her when I got married, but have seen many dresses that she has altered! She is amazing! I just hope she is still altering when my daughters get married one day!!!! more

Great Work! and Competitive Prices! 3/17/2010

I have known Christy for 18+ years. She had never done any alterations for me until last month. I ordered a mother-of-the-bride dress for a special occasion, and when it arrived, it was 1-2 sizes too big! She was able to alter and make this dress fit like a charm. I had so many compliments and was completely satisfied. When my two girls have their special day, it will be Christy who does their work! THANKS! more

Happy Bride 1/26/2010

Christy altered my wedding gown and steamed it for my wedding and portrait session. My portrait session was rained out, so I had to have it steamed again. Christy was very helpful about making sure that I got my dress when I needed it. She did a great job on the alterations. I thought that the dress looked great! I felt so beautiful on my special day. more

Pageant Dress 1/25/2010

Alterations by christy's is a great place to take your clothes to have any kind of work done. My grandaughter does beauty pageants and we always need some kind of work done on her dress and if I bring it to christy's she is alway's willing to do what I need done and makes sure that is what I want and makes sure we are satisfied with it.Christy's is your one stop alteration shop. more

Wedding Dress 1/24/2010

I loved having my wedding dress altered by Christy! The top was too big for me because my shoulders are so narrow. There was a lot of detail at the top of my dress, and she had to take it all off and re-embroider it all back on. It looked AMAZING! It's like nothing ever happened to the dress. I looked great and everyone loved the dress. Thanks Christy! more

Office Manager 1/21/2010

My sister was getting married when La Bella Sposa suddenly closed their doors. She was lucky to get her dress, but none of the alterations had been done. With the wedding a couple weeks away, she was desperate. Christy came through for her, and I know it was a lot of work being last minute. Now I take my clothes to her to be tailored, and I am very pleased with her work! Monroe is lucky to have this quality right in the heart of downtown! more

Bridesmaid and a Bride!! 1/21/2010

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding in June of 09, and needed my dress altered. I went online for local places in Monroe. I looked at Christy's website and decided to take the dress to to her. She had the alterations done in about a day, but my schedule was crazy and I couldn't get back for a week to pick the dress up. When i went back to pick up the dress - it was a bit tight and she worked with me until it fit just right!\r \r I was recently married in December and I took my gown to her because I was very happy with how she worked with me the time before. I obtained pricing from the store where I bought my gown, and they told me it would cost at least $200!! Not to mention that they would have to keep the dress for about a month. A month?? \r \r I took my dress to Christy and she made suggestions about the type of veil and jewelry i should wear. She showed me a couple different types of bustles as well. I appreciated all of the suggestions and options with the way the dress could be altered. more

Very professional! I love my dress!!!!! I knew it would require quite a bit of alterations since I am a smaller girl but she made it look exactly how I wanted. Looks custom made for my body! I would recommend Christy to anyone. Can't wait to wear my dress at my wedding! more

Christy has the expertise to handle the usually small but delicate fixes that can make a garment new again. I don't trust anyone but Christy to alter my clothes because she consistently delivers professional results. She is the best! more
