My experience hasn't been all that good, in fact I'm not using them anymore. The owner Paul is just kind of starting out. He sold me a solar system that generates electricity. He really outsourced the work to somebody else, so he was there, but he was kind of learning. I've had problems with the system, in fact, it's not even working at the moment. If you call him to resolve an issue, it's virtually impossible to get ahold of him. Nobody answers the phone. I've given him many chances. I couldn't get ahold of him for days, and then I got mad at him. The company I'm dealing with now has been in business a long time, and they noticed some things that were wrong with the work right away, like lightning protection with having metal up on the roof, since there's a lot of lightning in Florida. Paul's got a ways to go before he can successfully run a company. He's a nice guy, and I got a good price from him. Sometimes, it's a gamble when you go with somebody who's just starting out. He didn't give me certain information, like the rebate. That took a lot of work on my part. The permit wasn't done correctly, I had to go down and take care of that. Also, they couldn't actually figure out how to finish out the installation. I certainly wouldn't recommend him for installing a solar system. more

I've used Alpha TEC Electric four times, for electrical work and other things. I'm completely satisfied. Paul is reasonable and comes when he says. He's very honest, he's upfront, and he doesn't take advantage. He works to save me money and doesn't over bill and doesn't overwork. more
