Alphabet Soup Monogramming Btq

I purchased a onesie and babycap from Alphabet Soup for my new granddaughter. I was amazed that a store that specializes in monogramming would do such sloppy work! They did gift wrap the items but I decided to look at them when I arrived home. The onesie was for a 12 month old instead of a newborn. They did exchange for the NB size. However, the worst part was that the monogram was very crooked. The stabilizer on the back of the garments had been ripped off but had pieces still hanging. Also, there were loose threads hanging. Their only comment was that they would let the owner know. If a new mom didn’t wash this prior to putting it on her baby, the baby would be scratched by the stabilizer. Now I am going to spend the next hour cutting threads and paper off the items. Definitely would not recommend. more

OMG was my friends right. I have found the cutest store ever. Being new to Charlotte I asked around for some shops for thank you gifts. After being told by several neighbors about Alphabet Soup I put it on my list of places to check out. Wow what a selection and price ranges. I am in love with not only the store but the girls too. I was greeted by hellos as I entered the doors and being new to monogramed gift I found they were eager to teach me. They also gave some great ideas to add monogrammed touches to my new home. As for some of the comments listed at City Search, obviously they did not visit the same store I did....or maybe someone just wanted to vent sour grapes...or knock down much needed competition. Other stores be worried, this store is great and I will be spreading the word. By the way, I got my items within 3 days and was asked if I needed it sooner. LOVE THIS SHOP!!! I love alphabet soup! It is hands down the best place to go for gifts in Charlotte! \r They do excellent monogramming and will work extremely hard to meet all your needs in a timely manner.\r I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs anything monogrammed or to anyone just looking for a unique and special gift. I went in this store and WAS NOT GREETED by the two young girls working the checkout desk. Not one of them offered to help me. I then asked how long it would take to have something monogrammed and they told me three weeks, which is ridiculous. I went a couple doors down to Shower Me With Love and bought the same item, and went across the street to the mall and had it monogrammed in one hour. It seems they think they are the only monogramming store in town, but there is a booth in South Park Mall that will monogram in one hour I would also suggest taking items to Mudpies in Ballentine, but anything is better than bad service and long waits. If they are that busy I suggest buying more monogramming machines. I also had a friend who called to ask if they could monogram a onesie that said ""Welcome Home Daddy"" with a yellow ribbon for a soldier arriving home from war. She told them it would need to be done in two days, and explained the situation. They told her they could not and had a bad attitude. This was for a newborn baby who had never seen his father. I will never shop in a store that couldn't care less about their customer, or the men and women fighting for this country. It takes a lot for me to right a bad review but the service me and my friends have received from this store warrants me warning customers. I went in before my wedding and the customer service was great! They gave me great ideas for all my bridesmaids. They even wrapped it all up for me at no charge in great tissue and cello wrapping! I felt they really appreciated my business and I like all the fonts they have as well. I will recommend highly and go back! Pros: Great sales people and great fonts and colors to choose from Cons: Sharon Corners not always easy to get in and out of more
