Brow Wax 1/2/2012

Brow wax tech was prompt and courteous with appointment. However I won't return to her for another. One brow looks totally different than the other and they are both too short. I should have been warned when she didn't offer show her work to me in a mirror. The last two times I have been there I have not been happy with the results. more

I've been going to this salon since it was LA Hairtrends and I've never had a bad experience. I'm not someone who has frequent regular appointments, but I've used many of the services and have been happy, whether it's been hair or nails. I really need to try a facial! I like the atmosphere, the convenience, the products used, and of course the great staff. Always accommodating and helpful whether it's making an appointment, choosing services, or whatever. I have never had a complaint. more

great stylist, price keeps going up 12/26/2011

I love my stylist, but it seems that every time I come for a haircut the price has gone up. Not too crazy about that, especially since prices in the brocure say 39 and up. So you never really know what it's going to cost. more

FROM THE MINUTE YOU WALK IN THE DOOR YOU CAN SEE AND FEEL THE PROFESSIONALISM. THE STAFF IS WELCOMING AND SO IS THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE APPEARANCE OF THE SALON. DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT LONG AND LINDA "S"(THE STYLIST) GREETED AND GOT DOWN TO BUSINESS. IT WAS A FRIDAY AFTERNOON BUT DIDNOT HAVE A RUSHED/STRESSED ENERGY THING GOING ON. VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS- A BIT PRICEY-BUT GOT RESULTS,ADVICE, AND PRODUCT THAT I CAME FOR. MADE A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT AND WOULD HIGHLY(5 STAR RATING) RECOMMEND. more

manicures and pedicures with Jenn 12/18/2011

Jenn gives one of the best manicures and pedicures in Allentown. She has repaired many split nails for me, and has also helped me take better care of my nails . Jenn is professional with a really nice attitude! I highly recommend her. more

Jill is very patient (I can be a pill when it comes to my hair!) - she does great color work - she also voices her opinion which is helpful. Linda - thank you for your recommendation on Nioxin for hair that is thinning - still using it & I think it's working! The only thing I would change about your salon is that I would like an itemized receipt without having to ask for it so I know what I am being charged for each service. more

Great service, but prices are high and misleading. 12/12/2011

I have been using Allure for a while now and the service is always good. However, the costs have been really high. I wanted to save money so I only got a single process of color and so did my daughter. My daughter got a trim and the total cost was almost $225. I usually get highlights, but I am glad that I didn't. Apparently, they had to add extra color ($26 each) for both me and my daughter, they charged for the hair cut (ok), we had to pay XTRA for shampoo and blow out (I mean, should we just come home with color in our hair and wash it out ourselves?), then we had to pay an extra $18 for my daughter to get her eyebrows tinted the same color as her hair (there was no additional color needed, just needed to be applied with a small brush; REALLY?). We will be going somewhere else going forward. The service is good, but not enough to pay the high prices. more

Nice Salon But Pricey 12/10/2011

I have been going to this salon for a few years. I have always been happy with the service I receive. Plus they are a full service salon. I just wish they would stop raising the prices on haircuts. At my last haircut when I checked out I noticed the price was raised from $41 to $47. I think this is a lot for a haircut especially when you are maintaining a style. I am a stay at home mom and I really need to watch what I spend. If the prices keep going up I will have to look for another salon. more

Hight Cost 12/8/2011

I went in for a hair coloring. I also asked the stylist if she could trip my bangs. It took her about 30 seconds. Then they wanted to charge me for half a haircut price! I complained, and they decided to charge me $7 - which is better, but still WAY TOO MUCH for 30 seconds of work. With the $75 I was already spending on the color and blowdry, they should have done the 30 second touch-up as a complementary favor. more
