Great service, very satisfied 11/5/2009

I have dealt with transmission shops before and this one was well worth the drive. The manager Mike was honest and up front from the beginning. Also right off the bat the towing of my vehicle was done in a timely matter. I had it brought there on a monday morning and by tuesday evening I was driving it home. It has been about 7 months now and things are still going fine. Keep up the good work guys!!!! Pros: Manager was very professional and helpful Cons: Little out of the way for me. more

Not a good choice 2/8/2008

I went to USA Transmission to have my trans rebuilt, I noticed a problem with a part on my car that prohibited me from driving it. It was a potentionaly dangerious problem and they refused to do anything about it, they clamed that they had nothing to do with the problem, but the work that I had done, they had to remove this part to do the job. I spent almost $1600 and I am very dissatisfied. I was told to take it somewhere else and they had very poor customer service. And again I am very dissatisfied, do your self a favor and don't ever go there, find someone else. My family and I are now without any type of transportation and we all know how inconviencing that is. The problem with the car isn't too big for them to be albe to handle at all, it would problably take them about 30 min to an hour max. Its just a matter of replacing some bolts, after spending $1600 I can't get a few bolts replace. Cons: no communication, unprofessional, more

Very dishonnest and no respect or appreciation for customers! Stay Away from this shop! 1/4/2008

This is a complaint on the poor quality of service received at USA Transmissions at Madison Heights. I have taken my 2002 Mazda Millenia there for a transmission repair. The shop owner or manager was very deceptive. What he quoted me when I dropped the car off was actually different than what he actually charged me after he started working on the vehicle. To try to save money like any customer would, I decided to order a used transmission instead of having his shop rebuild mine. Because of that, he got upset and very disrespectful. As a result, he decided to double the labor price for installing the used transmission. When I picked up the vehicle, he refused to give me any warranty on the labor claiming that I wanted to install a junk yard transmission on the vehicle that he has not endorsed. I understand about not getting warranty from him on the transmission itself, but it is his responsibility to guarantee his labor. He had a very bad attitude with me, which was very unprofessional on his part. For your mind's sake, DO NOT EVER consider taking your vehicle to USA Transmissions of Madison Heights, MI. These people will never get my business again and I will warn as many people as I possibly can about their malicious practices. I did not even receive a courtesy call after spending over $750 there to only install a transmission. Because of a tight schedule, I cannot take them to court as much as I would like to. The least I can do is spread the word. I will report this matter to the State Attorney General and other consumer complaint agencies as well. Pros: None Cons: Dishonest, disrespectful, and very unprofessional more
