Great Moving Company! 12/1/2011

I wish to thank you for the wonderful support Allstate Van Lines ship to our move earlier this weekend. The crew was phenomenal -- friendly, hardworking and professional. They did an incredible job packing up lots of plastic bins and boxes, a huge selection of plastic bags of clothing along with car seats and strollers, within an organized fashion generating the transition to your new location easier. I can't even imagine the way you could have done it without their support and yours. more

The best Moving company! 11/30/2011

We had a short move from the downtown apartment to midtown. We chose Allstate Van Lines in Richmond simply because they were recommended by a friend, and were also the least expensive we found. These guys were fast, courteous, and did everything humanly possible to protect our stuff. I was shocked that the move was completed so quickly. We'd minor damage to our bed, and when I pointed it out for them, they offered to pay the entire expense of the repair, well beyond what we should were insured for. The damage was so minor, and really beyond what they can control, so that I decided to not even pursue it. As we have to move again, we are using Allstate Van Lines. more

I used Allstate Van Lines services a few days ago and I have to say I've never experienced such a pleasant move before. With excellent customer care and prompt professional movers I felt that it's all taken care off. There were no additional costs I had been never told of, no problems, only clean professional work that was well done more

Thank you for a stress-free transfer! 11/1/2011

I moved my business in Richmond to a new location. I had many valuables which were very high priced including paintings, sculptures and numerous works of art that were irreplaceable. I had heard about Allstate Van Lines and decided to call them to obtain an estimate. I was greeted with a very courteous sales representative, who reassured me of Allstate Van Lines excellent level of service, as I was very nervous with all the expensive items I had to move. Every piece was moved without even a scratch on it. The movers knew exactly how to wrap and pack the items. They were the greatest bunch of guys, and turned what might have been a very stressful experience, into one of the best moving experiences. I will unquestionably be using them again for any future moves, and will highly recommend them. more

Superb, Reliable Service 10/26/2011

I hate moving, but they actually managed to get an enjoyable experience! Allstate Van Lines were punctual, friendly, helpful and solved the problem stay calm during my move. I'd some very difficult pieces to move, some with great sentimental attachment, and they treated it with the greatest of care! Any questions I had they answered plus they obviously knew what they were doing. I would recommend Allstate Van Lines to anybody who wants a hassle free move. more

Superb, Efficient Service 10/25/2011

I did a lot of online research into well-rated Richmond moving companies and known as a number of movers for quotes. Allstate Van Lines provided the best hourly rate, and I decided to go with them. The three movers were on time, very professional, and incredibly helpful. They completed my proceed to a new studio in lust a few hours, and everything arrived within fine condition. The charge at the end of the move was as agreed upon, although there were a couple additional $10 charges for shrink-wrap for that couch and a bag for that chair. Overall, Allstate Van Lines made moving day manageable. Five stars and that i would definitely recommend them. more

Cost, support and professionalism were excellent! 10/23/2011

Recently i hired Allstate Van Lines to help me with my move. They made a stressful experience smooth and simple. The first thing that impressed me about Allstate Van Lines, is that the owner, personally came to my apartment to create the estimate. In all the many years of living in Richmond and all the moves I've made, this was the first time that the owners has taken the time and care to can even make sure I was being taken care of. The day of my move, the men that came to move me were so wonderful. These were polite and courteous and were extremely careful with all of my belongings. Not only was the move fast and painless, but the estimate I was given held true at the end of the move. I have already recommended Manor to several of my friends and coworkers and I will use them myself on my next move. You really can't go wrong with this company! more

Trusted as well as budget friendly 10/23/2011

It absolutely was my first move, so naturally We have lot and lots of questions, and all sorts of were answered patiently from the very patient Christi who won my business with the professionalism. Every little detail she provided and my husband when we conference called concerning the hourly price and extra cost of supplies, was a big help on the go day. We were packed and ready for the movers, and had an easy, surprise free move. Well, no bad surprises anyway. There were nice ones: they set it up an arrival window of 8:000-10:00am, and arrived on 8:05. Which was a good start and I was glad the day kept going in that direction. They were always smiling, even with the super hot day I finished up moving on. Allstate Van Lines made my move quick and easy. more

Definitely recommend to others! 6/25/2011

We used Allstate Van Lines movers for the past 9 years. Their packers were and quick and very careful. I used them to pack my 2 bedroom home and I thought it would take them at least 10 hours. They were done in 5 hours with 3 packers. Allstate Van Lines moving crew and also top notch. Movers were running 15 minutes late and called me to let me know that they were stuck in traffic. When you are packed, they really can pack the van quickly. I highly recommend Allstate Van Lines movers in Richmond! more

My family moved last month with Allstate Van Lines and it was a fantastic moving experience. The crew of 4 was fast and efficient and did not damage anything. \r They were very professional and numbered the boxes so that you can check off each number upon arrival. Great service 3/21/2011

That was a great surprise! I never though it would be such a smooth move to my new apartment. I was very excited about moving but was quite stressed. Flat rate managed to work around my schedule and changed the start time a few times until everything worked out between the buildings and my schedule. They even called the building and sent insurance (my building is very strict). I was impressed. I didn't have to worry about anything and that's how it should be. Great service! I highly recommend more

A job well done 3/20/2011

The move went very smoothly to our surprise and the price was the same as we were quoted initially. The movers were courteous and polite. They managed to accomplish this complicated move that involved three different locations efficiently and without any problems. I was also impressed with how well they worked with the doormen at the apartment buildings. I strongly recommend this company to anyone moving. more

Great Moving Company 3/10/2011

I just moved and it was a fantastic moving experience. The crew of 3 was fast and efficient and damaged nothing. They even had to go up 2 flights to get all of my stuff and go up 2 flights to put it away in the new place. They asked me where I wanted stuff placed. The price didn't change even though there were a few extra items not mentioned for the estimate (that must always happen). I highly recommend using this moving company. Knowing the cost before you move is great, and then you don't have to hope they hurry it up to keep it cheap. more
