Both of the people that came arrived exactly on time and actually beat me to the storage unit that I was unloading. Allstate Moving crew did a great job and were good sports about the long walk from my apartment to their truck. There were no suprises or stress over the price and were very accomodating to my schedule. The process is very simple, they come to your place for a free estimate, give you one flat price and that is the price you pay, no matter how long it takes. No surprises!!! more

I booked them for my interstate move from NV to CA in the beginning on February. I also read a lot of reviews online before booking the company and finally decided to give them a try. First of all I was pleasantly surprised; I didn’t expect the movers to protect the furniture like they did. They used moving blankets, bubble wrap, stretch wrap and everything you can think of. They were well prepared. I also had all my moving boxes from them. They also had their toolbox with them and they were able to disassemble my bed and the two dressers I had. Steve was the moving manager of the crew that moved my stuff and he and his crew were very professional. The initial free moving quote whey provided on the phone was quite close to the final amount and price was reasonable. I had no damaged items or furniture. Anyway, I highly recommend using Allstate Moving for your moving needs. more

These guys were great from the minute I called. They really paid close attention to detail with my move. We had a 4 bedroom home that they helped us pack and then move. I asked Tom to send packers a day before because it was a lot of stuff, but he told me that they can finish packing and move everything by the evening. On the move day four guys came, and the manager there explained me about the contract and also brought a not to exceed contract with him, I never ask for a not to exceed contract but that works great for me. After one hour all the beds was already disassemble and wrapped with blankets all three sofa in the living room was wrapped with blanket and shrink wrap. After 5 hours they finish pack and load every thing to the truck, I was amazed that they manage to fit everything in one load. When we got to my new house they start to unload everything first and than unwrapped the furniture and reassemble them back that took them 3 hour to do. It took them 8 hours to move me all the items came exactly as they took them. Last time I moved I paid 2340.60$ and it took the guy two days to move me. This time I paid 1160$ and it took them only 8 hours. No cigarette break, and no stalling time the only thing was a 10 minute lunch break and David the manager told me he is not going to charge me for that but I told him not to worry about it. They were very helpful and just a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone. more

We had a short move from a Reno, NV apartment to Palo Alto, CA. Mostly boxes, sofa, plus a bed and a large two dressers. We chose Allstate Moving because they were recommended by a friend, and were also the least expensive we found. These movers were fast, courteous, and did everything humanly possible to protect our stuff. We were shocked that the move was completed so quickly. We had VERY minor damage to our bed, and when I pointed it out to them, they offered to pay the entire expense of the repair, well beyond what we were insured for. The damage was so minor, and really beyond their control, so that I decided to not even pursue it. If we have to move again, we will be using professional moving company Allstate Moving. more

My family moved from Reno, NV to Oklahoma City, OK in late 23/06/10. I have heard of bad moving companies that would charge their customers double than the original quote on the date of moving. That made my family and I anxious when we were going to contact moving companies, especially that we are international. But from the beginning of my experience with Allstate Moving, it was all positive. Their quote was several hundreds lower than other companies. When we were open with him about my family's tight budget, he shared with us great packing tips that helped even lower our fee. On the day of moving, the moving crew were very professional, time-efficient, and friendly. After the move, we originally thought we had lost two boxes. During the process, Alex was helpful and patient in helping us find the stuff. But later, my family and I were embarrassed to realize that the boxes had been in our kitchen the whole time! The last thing to note, Allstate Moving refunded us another $140, because the actual weight of our stuff was lower than his original estimation. My family and I are SUPER satisfied with our working experience with Allstate Moving. We have already recommended this company to our friends. more

If you plan on moving anytime soon, save yourself and book with Allstate Moving. They were very courteous and detailed in taking my request and providing an initial estimate. On moving day, the movers showed up a little early (not a bad thing), were careful, friendly, and timely. The final cost was actually a little under the original estimate. Everything was wrapped and in the end in Florida where I moved to, nothing was scratched or broken. They actually made moving less stressful. If I have to move again, I will call them first. more

Not only did the moving crew of Allstate Moving - Long distance movers Van Lines in Reno, NV show up a little early to get a head start on the move, they properly packed up the valuable furniture. Plus, the driver was able to back the truck in to my driveway--which is a very tight squeeze! This is what a moving company is all about! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED more
