We have been a customer for ten+ years, paying extra for ""backdoor"" service as our HOA does not allow cans at the street. Suddenly our trash is no longer being picked up, so I called, and after being put on hold for over a half hour we are told our cans were not at the curb. I explained they never have been they are in the same place since day one. After going around and around, they said they would send over a ""courtesy pickup"". I said I didnt want a courtesy, I want my trash picked up as I am paying for. Three days later they pickup. Next collection day, same thing. They say cans arent out. Again repeat story, on hold three times and will send courtesy pickup. They never picked up. I ask to have a supervisor call, no one calls. I have paid a quarter in advance and no pick up, no one cares. Their response was....we no longer offer backdoor service. We cannot put our cans out and they have my money. This company's customer service is absolutely pathetic, non-existant. We have choices in Richmond, they are not the only company collecting trash. I am prepared to take them to small claims court if necessary to get a refund for service unrendered. And, I will call another company today to actually arrange ""service"", something you will not get from Allied. Unless you have the patience of a Saint and don't mind paying for service you do mot recieve, I suggest you select another one of the many other companies who provide service.
