We are a military family, so whenever we move somewhere new, I'm always asking questions like who's a good mechanic and where are the good schools? Alliance Transmissions & Auto Repair was recommended to me by 3 total strangers at different locations. So, when my car broke down, I was already lining up where the good mechanic was. I went to Alliance and they fixed my car. They are great people and I've already recommended them to several people. more

My experience with Alliance Transmissions & Auto Repair was very good. First of all, my story begins with them being referred to me from two different auto dealerships. Both companies recommended I go there to get the work done that I needed. As far as that went, I was feeling really secure in going there. And then I was talking to one of the contractors I do business with, and he recommended Alliance to me too. When I first went into the shop, I met Rusty and he was great. I met the owner Ray on the second day. They were dead on with the three estimates they gave me, they even saved me a few hundred dollars. They were prompt and efficient. They were very knowledgeable and had a more in-depth understanding of what needed to be done rather than a Nissan dealer. My car runs like it's brand new again, with absolutely no issues. This is a great local shop, and I didn't feel like they wanted to rob me. Also, I really appreciated that they gave me options of what I could do, I never felt like I was in the predicament of having to do something because they said I had to. I highly, highly recommend this shop to anybody. more

When we have dealt with different mechanics in the past, they have been very dishonest about what repairs needed to be done. Since I found Alliance Transmissions & Auto Repair by luck, they have been nothing but upfront and honest with us. They have actually saved us money on repairs. On things we thought would be major, but turned out to not be, they told us that, and even showed us what they were repairing. I've never had any issues with Alliance Transmissions & Auto Repair. They're very accommodating. They've done some clutch and transmission work on my '99 Corvette, filter service on my Lexus cars, and service on two of my daughters' car. I bring all cars to Alliance for transmission and service repair. I haven't had any mechanic work done here yet because there have been no issues with that. I live right down the street from Alliance Transmission & Auto Repair. I used them after I drove by one time. I've been a customer of Rusty's at Alliance Transmissions for ten years now. My first experience with Alliance Transmissions & Auto Repair was last year. I didn't have a whole lot of money at the moment, but my truck needed a lot of work done in a bad way. My truck is twenty years old, but it's my baby! Alliance worked with me so that I was able to get all the work it needed done, and pay in installments without interest. I was so happy and so grateful for them to do that for me. I couldn't believe how patient they were with me. The work they did was amazing, my truck is driving like a brand new car now, I love it! I've been going to Alliance Transmissions & Auto Repair for 22 years, and I've brought about 10 vehicles to them in that time. I recommend everybody to them, and I've never had anybody upset with me. They do a super job! For example, the dealer wanted $4,500 to do this transmission, while Alliance offered the same for $3,000 and with a similar warranty. I can't say enough about the place! I had a problem with my manual transmission and my regular mechanic referred me to Alliance Transmissions & Auto Repair. I called Alliance Transmissions over the phone and described the problem, and they got it right away! They were ninety-nine percent sure right during our phone call. I took my car over there and they fixed it right up. Rusty took care of the job. It took a little longer than I would have liked it to be because there were a lot of people. However, they finished the job within an our. They are extremely confident about their ability and know what they're doing! more

Alliance Transmissions & Auto Repair has seen my car probably three times in the last two months due to minor problems. I dropped it off and Rusty at Alliance Transmissions & Auto Repair was extremely nice! They didn't charge me for the little item because it was such a minor issue. I needed transmission work done and my boyfriend has a Lexus. Lexus didn't work on my car since it wasn't a Lexus, so they gave the name of Alliance Transmissions & Auto Repair. I expect to go back whenever I have issues with my car! more

Alliance Transmission & Auto Repair has a good bunch of guys. I had a transmission failure in my truck, and I brought it to them to diagnose it. They actually provided me information about where Dodge had incorrectly patched it. With that information I was able to go to Dodge to request a refund. This was great because it was the third failure on the truck, and I am sure if I had taken it to Dodge they would have just fixed it without letting me know it was their fault. Alliance Transmission did all that for me, which was good. I am very satisfied with Alliance Transmission. When you go there be flexible with your time schedule. Sometimes there will be delays due to work load, but it is good that they are busy. more

When it comes to timeliness, Alliance was perfect. I had a very great experience with them. The most important thing for me when I got to a shop is that I felt good and comfortable about the place, and I had that feeling there. I've had lots of bad experiences with other shops in the past, and I was just wowed by the difference! It was a completely different story! They didn't just change parts around and play the guessing game, they told me what's wrong with the car, did further testing to make sure, and the tests confirmed what they thought. Fixing the problem cost me $2400, but only $600 of that was from the work Alliance did, and I wish I had gone there first. There are no hidden costs, which is the best part. If they say it's going to cost $463, that's what it was. It was awesome! Any other place would have taken me for a ride, and others already had. I went into Alliance for transmission repair, and their ad says to ask them for other repairs, so I did, and they checked it all out, and that's how it went on. They were recommended to me by my father because he takes his two trucks from his catering business there for transmission service, and that was the first thing I needed checked out. I tol+ d him about their other services, and now he's going there for other things too. I've been spreading the word about Alliance all over. I talk to everybody, pass out business cards, and I tell people to call these guys. They're great, believe me! I live in Las Vegas now, and I would say the drive back to my Oceanside home to visit Alliance for repairs would be well worth the trip! more

I have had a couple of experiences with Alliance Transmission and Auto. I have had them overhauled 2 transmissions for 2 different cars in the past 3 months. I feel they have good intentions as far as trying to save me money, which is rare for a repair shop. They demonstrated a lot of integrity and their prices were pretty reasonable for what they did. I just found them on the internet and took a risk. They were able to diagnose my problem before I even brought my car in that first time, and we have since developed a good relationship. Everything now seems to be working great, and I do not expect and problems. more
