Yes, The Alley is slow, on a busy day you can wait an hour after ordering. But each order is cooked one table at a time so don't fool around reading the menu. And be sure to order something, anything with Hash Browns! The rest of the food is good, but those Hash Browns are worth the hour wait, perfect golden crust and a steamy tender spud inside. I've been going to The Alley for over 20 years and haven't found any breakfast taters anywhere that can match those Hash Browns. Huge pancakes (never had one), giant portions (I always order the half-omlette), Farmers Brother coffee, and a long wait. Oh, and did I mention the Hash Browns???
Pros: The Hash Browns
Cons: long wait for those Hash Browns
