I do not recommend this place. You will end up signing an expensive contract and get nothing in return. You will learn nothing, but will pay for belts. No standards, this place should not be in business. Really horrible people and service. BUYER BEWARE!!!! There are so many better places in this area! more

We love Allen's. My son has high functioning autism and is steadily moving toward his black belt which is a real accomplishment. He is learning about goals and meeting them each belt at a time. They teach good character traits as well as the physical art of martial arts. The other place he tried was too big and no character aspects were taught. more

The Teachers were nice, aside from not having any standards by which to promote children from one belt to the other. (I asked) But don't run into hard times. The Iron Clad Contract (as quoted to me when I called to let them know we had transportation issues and request a refund or at least stop payment) holds no compassion. Then, as if they even ever offered to help the first time, I received an email using my facebook complaints as JUSTIFICATION for not helping us! Had they even bothered to say "" I will see what I can do"" we would not have had the need to complain! If you choose Allen's Taekwondo (formally Karate and a chain store), make sure you have enough in the bank to cover a layoff or a car breakdown, because this martial arts program chooses their financial gain over compassion. ~ Susanne more
