This place is FANTASTIC! Their front desk lady, Tracy, really knows her stuff when it comes to insurance. I understand how frustrating insurance really is, but she took her time explaining it to me and I appreciate that. Dr. Dan is a great dentist. He put together a comprehensive treatment plan, took pictures of my teeth, showed me where the problems were and fixed them on my next appointment painlessly. Emphasis on painless! He and his assistant Alyssa went out of their way making me feel comfortable in the chair. I have already referred them to my family and friends and will continue to do so! My family and I have been to numerous dentists over the years, and Alleman Family Dental is the best dental office we have ever been to. I am usually extremely nervous when I visit the dental office, but not at Alleman. They are all very professional. Rebecca is a fantastic hygienist, very thorough and gentle. Dr. Dan takes his time to explain the treatment he has planned, takes pictures before, during and after his work and shows them to me on the computer. I feel confident that what he is doing is necessary because he shows me the proof! I read some of the reviews on this site and others before making my decision to visit their office and I'm glad I didn't bother with the bad reviews, they couldn't be more wrong. I haven't had a problem with the cancellation policy, I understand that they have a business to run like any other service establishment. My family and I will be coming to Alleman for a very long time, I think we finally found our dentist! more

I agree with aquapurity. I was a brand new patient. I called to move my $1080.00 crown appointment for the next day due to an unforeseen schedule change at work. Suddenly - all the over the top hospitality shown the first visit disappeared and the receptionist told me I would be charged $90 just to move the appointment. Naturally I did not recall signing on to this rule (who does?) but the receptionist was shaking her finger at me over the phone and saying that it is clear in their ""policy"". Now they lost the $1080.00 but, hey, they got the $90 (oh and an extra $10 to transfer my xrays to another dentist after I cancelled)! Back to my old dentist who is human. I think I'll even give him a hug when I see him. His friendliness is genuine. more

Twenty minutes before my appointment I called in and tried to reschedule. They said it would be a $90 dollar fee. Funny how it doesn't say that in the email reminder they sent, nor in any previous documentation I could find. It was 10 degrees outside with six inches of frozen snow on my car. I explained that I would try my best to get there, to which they calmly responded, ""if you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be charged $90."" I will be finding a new dentist who actually cares about their patients. more

I've (unfortunately) needed quite a bit of work this past year and I am very happy with Dr. Dan and the staff. \r \r Very friendly staff that makes you feel like a person not a client. Pros: in network, newer and clean facility, friendly staff Cons: a bit hidden location more
