The Irvine Vacuum Depot is terrific. This place is great - Sean is an outstanding person to deal with. Over the years I have purchased two vacuum cleaners and a Miele dishwasher from Sean, and have referred my friends to his shop. He is incredibly nice, honest, and informed. There's no pressure, and everything is explained and demonstrated. He carries the best brands and all the accessories and parts you will ever need. I went there during lunch time and wanted to check out a Miele vacuum. I met the store manager, Sean, who's been at the shop for 9 years and he was terrific. He knew the products very well. He understood what I needed. He didn't try to push me towards the more expensive units since my place is only 1400sqft and mostly hardwood floors. What sold me at the end was his professionalism and very surprisingly, he had no problem if I walked away and came back later and he was confident he can match any price including internet based pricing. It's rare these days to find an old school professional salesman like Sean. After that, I didn't feel like I needed to do anymore research and bought the new Miele S6 Onyx. Since I haven't moved into my new place yet, I haven't tried it but from everything I have read about Miele and hearing from someone who has a MIele, I don't think I'll have any problems. I went to this place to repair my vacuum and from the first moment the service was great. They fixed it in 2 days and it was fine. Pros: null Cons: null more

I'm willing to bet any good ratings of this place were done by the owner or his relatives. It's just too bad we can't give zero or negative star ratings. The person we encountered here was lazy, rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. He was obviously annoyed that his lunch had been interrupted by a customer needing a factory authorized repair. After getting the basic information, he rudely walked away. When asked for a receipt or work order, he refused, saying he would "call tomorrow". Next day, you guessed it, no call. A day later, still no call, so I called him. We picked it up the following day but made the huge mistake of assuming it had been repaired. Got it home and tried to use it in the evening. Same problem. ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE! Deal with this company at your own risk. We're taking the vacuum elsewhere and advising the manufacturer to withhold payment and to drop this company from their authorized repair centers. They are a bad reflection on any manufacturer they represent. more

SEAN WAS EXCELLENT TO DEAL WITH. KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COMPETITIVE. HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING AND HIS INSTALLER HANDLED A VERY DIFFICULT INSTALLATION MOST PROFESSIONALLY. more
