I started to come to this place after I heard Greg was running the place again, he had been gone for a few years and I was delighted to hear he had returned. Always got wonderful service where he always sat & talked with about my company cars & what needed to be done or would soon need some work taken care of. Well folks I stopped in and was told the owners had let him go as the business was slow & they couldn t afford him. They couldn t afford not to have him was more truthful as he always was honest with me and my friends. The owners are nuts they have no clue about running a repair shop, or being honest with customers. I knew the place had been run into the ground after Greg left a few years ago, I stopped going there because of the circus I saw first hand. They had stripped out my oil pan drain plug & didn t tell me what they had done, I had a recall on this car and my dealer showed me the patch job they had done. I told the stupid manager a couple of years ago & he said there was nothing he could do to make it right. Some of my friends also complained about problems they had but nothing was resolved. I get my work done close by to this location and have been told they have no business now & with Greg gone they may as well close the doors as I and my friends would never go there again. \r Greg if you read this thanks for all the great service you provided to my fleet & taking care of my friends & my family. I think you have my number call me I will go where ever you are at.\r \r If I could give no stars I would as this place is no good & the owners are total jerks who have no clue what a auto repair shop is all about.\r Just a huge scam joint who will steal your money sell you things you don't need, or use cheap parts & over charge you for crappy workmanship. \r Stay away very far away !!!!!!\r Bad place !! more

Great place. Once it was not so good (they sometimes tried to get you, like many shops do), but last couple of years it got much better since they hired Greg, an older guy, as a manager. He is very down-to-Earth and understands people and their needs. He does not seem to rip you off but finds a normal humane solution that makes you happy. Some time ago he got ill and was on a medical leave; they hired a guy from Libertyville Nissan dealership, and that guy acted like in his dealership: tried to sell you more than you needed for too much. I decided not to come there any more, but I had their Oil Change Club card (6 oil changes), so I was stuck with them for oil changes, so I came for an oli change 2 weeks ago and saw Greg back form a sick leave, and, again, a great care, a human talk, and the best deal. Hey, you can't beat that. I was so happy that he is back! And, by the way, they have another mechanic with life experience, Walter. They both may seem a little crude (mechanics), but don't hurry to judge; talk with Greg; you won't be disappointed. You can even mention this review, so he may give you a good deal. Makes sense? Don't worry about my name for reference; just say, "They gave you a good reference." Pros: Super care, great manager, experienced mechanics Cons: Maybe (but I do not know), you may wait a little longer; no wonder, it means great demand. I did not wait long, but I saw many cars inside. more
