WORST CARDEALERSHIP IN BATON ROUGE!!! 11/30/2012

WORST CAR DEALERSHIP IN BATON ROUGE\r \r All Star Toyota of Baton Rouge took 5 long hard weeks to even get my new 2013 Tacoma to the original purchase agreement condition. Lies, rudeness, insults, backhanded paperwork, miscommunication, and screw-ups from day 2. I say day 2 because that's after they got their money. This wasn't only from my "salesman", if you can call him that. It was from him, his managers, and most importantly the GM. It took me threatening with lawyers and calling Toyota Corporate to get ANYTHING done.\r \r WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!\r \r The service center manager, Hudson, was the only person that was remotely in my corner during any of this. So, I can't ding him for that.\r \r If I can stop 1 person from buying a car from them, I have done my job.\r \r Contact me for any specifics, I have it all audio recorded and I have every piece of paperwork to back it up. more

Tiara P., the internet specialist, quoted me a starting price of over $4000 above MSRP for a new Toyota Matrix. L-Auto And this is a car with incentives galore (hello Toyota safety recalls)! They must think consumers are as dumb as dirt, especially young females like myself. Buyer beware. Pros: null Cons: null more

Bad Body Work 3/24/2011

Being in the collision repair industry and knowing which technicians work at Allstar Toyota's collision center, I can tell you that I KNOW that at least some of the body techs there are not properly repairing vehicles. I've seen cars leave there that should not be on the road and that are not safe to drive. The bad thing about body repairs is that you can hide bad repairs...and some of their technicians are famous in Baton Rouge for doing just that. They may have an excellent sales staff, but as far as body repair goes, find a more reputable shop. more

Excellent sales department and collision center 6/1/2009

I recently purchased an 2009 Venza. I brought in a list of features I wanted and told the salesman I was firm about not having extra features. He was not pushy, and happily agreed to try to satisfy my requirements. The dealership did not have a similar vehicle, so the salesman searched all the dealerships in the region and bargained with a manager from another state to have a vehicle shipped to me. I was extremely pleased with the entire transaction. The salesman was amazing! In the past I have had body and paint work performed at the collision center. I was very pleased with the results. The bodywork was smooth with no evidence of repairs, and the paint matched perfectly (even in bright sunlight)! more

No Service, No Value, Wouldn't recommend AllStar 3/10/2009

They had a bunch of pushy sales people who liked to tell me how I should by a car. Last I checked it was my money and I earned they right to do with it what I choose. When they took my keys to look at my car, they acted like they didn't want to give me back my keys and my registration, then hide my own car from me. Childish if you ask me! Being a women, they told me I needed to go home and get my husband, so he can help me make up my mind. I didn't need to make up my mind, I went on the Internet and found exactly the car I wanted, printed it out and brought it to them. All they did was laugh in my face and make me feel stupid. They emailed me some corny little email, about how great their internet deparment was and this is what I get. I don't think so, in a city with other Toyota Stores to choose from, that's just what I did. more

It doesn't get any better than this!!!! Harry Ryals is amazing!!! 5/21/2007

Well I am 49 years old and I've bought a lot of vehicles over the last 32 years. I must say , however, that this was the absolute best experience I've ever had. I contacted Harry on the internet. He found exactly what I wanted and was able to get it while it was in the port so it could be altered. I didn't want the first aid kit, and other frivolous extras that hike up the price. He was able to make sure all of this wasn't put on the vehicle. He also gave me a no hassle dealer invoice price and applied the cash rebate!!! Two weeks later we returned with my partner's father, and he gave him the exact same deal. more

Great Car Purchase Experience 4/20/2005

Before I left for this Toyota dealer, I imagined that very aggressive sales people would come to me once I get there. Instead, a nice man in his 50s came to welcome me. A soft guy, he was willing to negotiate the price to the bottom before he asked his sales manager to deal with. He suggested that I could get a good price on that day because they needed to sell more. Indeed, I got a very good deal in the end.\r Eearlier I went to a competing Toyota dealer. There was a big contrast in the way the salespeople approached me.\r I would recommend anyone who wants to buy a Toyota vehicle to check this dealer. more
