I cancelled before I even went through with the experience. I read all of these reviews and decided to set up a move with them anyways even with a bad feeling in my gut. The guy said he would email me all of the details in which he did not. I decided to go ahead and rent a Uhaul and do the move myself, but when I called the number "Colin" gave me it went to a personal voicemail box of someone else and the 866 number they have listed on their website will not pick up unless you have submitted a form for a quote online. I had to trick them into answering. Pros: None Cons: Smells like fraud to me. more

I used this company for a move from Fishers to Pendleton a year ago. The move generally went off with very few problems and I tipped the movers and paid for my move immediately using my debit card. Pros: Good Mover Cons: Sticky Fingered Accounting more

THEY DID A GREAT JOB... i HAVE TO SAY THAT I DID NOT EXPECT THEM TO COVER THE RUGS AND HARDWOOD FLOORS. THAT WAS A NICE TOUCH. THE ONLY THING IS THAT THEY ARE SO CAREFUL PACKING AND PREPPING THE HOUSE THAT IT TAKES A LITTLE LONGER... BUT YOU HAVE TO EXPECT THAT WITH QUALITY! more

My husband and I moved 15 miles and were having our belongings stored for one week. We were quoted at $85/hour for movers and $150 flat fee for storage. When they brought our belongings to a us a week later, they changed it to $105/hr for movers and $150 per day for storage!!! We paid $2100 to move 15 miles. When we tried to talk to the supervisor on the phone, he repeatedly raised his voice at both my husband and myself and hung up on me! He told the movers not to give us our things until we paid the money. We have contacted an attorney and can't wait for our day in court with this company. If a rating of "no-stars" was an option, I would have gone there. I have never before become involved in rating a company on the internet--but for All My Sons in Indianapolis I will make an exception! In our interstate move,they subcontracted to a third driver and hired help with unloading from a local staffing agency.. How much is lost , damaged or "too heavy" to move depends on who does the moving and carrying. They left furniture behind in the warehouse which, 5 weeks later , still has not been delivered.They processed my credit card anyway for MORE than the do not exceed figure.The owner avoids my phone calls; It is amazing how late the banks in Indianapolis stay open and how often he is there or involved in meetings . The owner has made and failed to honor four promises about 1.redelivery of the item left the warehouse and 2. compensation for that item and overcharges. In addition,we have still not received the insurance claim forms for damaged items.( I understand that claim decisions will ultimately go back to the shipper of origin,ie,. All My Sons,Indianapolis for action--or not!) It is hard to know how to assess these kinds of reviews but I would recommend highly that before using this particular arm of the All My Sons company, check with the Indianapolis business associations for the number of claims on file and how they have--and have not--been resolved. Call the Indiana Department of Revenue, which has oversight. This is probably good due diligence for any mover being considered. I wish we had known to do so. more

This company is terrible. I moved from Indy to Boston and suffered damages, tremendous stress, huge overpayments, and the loss of many possessions. more

I have been on this site to search for restaurants and local "things to do" in entertainment being new to the area and relying on the reviews myself I think it's important that I write one to guide others in the future. I was moved by All My Sons and if they are ever in a city and I need to move they will be my first and only call. The professionalism they showed all around was amazing - can you even believe they took the time to explain the fuel charge! At $4.00 a gallon who wouldn't charge?! The fact that they pointed it out and made sure I was aware of it blew my mind! I never thought I would find a company that didn't rush me through the fine print! Amazing! Simply Amazing! Pros: professional and funny Cons: the movers smoked but we all have our bad habits more

This was a great move. I have only moved twice in my lifetime and have a ton of stuff that I have accumulated over the years. The crew came in with lots of boxes, paper, tape, everything! They packed my entire home in one day (it took me 3 weeks to pack half my dishes). The next day the same crew came back and got everything packed into their truck and delivered to my new apartment before dinner time. I was absolutely amazed!! They put my bed back together and put all my furniture where I wanted it (and I changed my mind about 10 times.. haha). I do not plan on moving again for a very long time, but the crew really helped in keeping stress levels down... so if I were to move again I would not be nearly as scared as I was for this one! Pros: The movers are so good, and the price is very reasonable Cons: Bring some coffee... crew got there at 7am more

I gotta say that this is the best move that I have ever had! I spent 15 years in the military and obviously became accustomed to traveling and moving quite often... and I have to say, this was AS GOOD AS IT GETS!! The office personnel explained everything that I needed to do to prepare for the move... as well as giving me a run down on what to expect the day of the move! The movers were extremely professional in everything that they did. I am not the type to write a review, but because this move was so smooth and simple I would of felt guilty not publicly thanking All My Sons. I will absolutely use their services again!!! Before I start my review I want to mention I've moved 13 times in the last 5 years with the same stuff and have never used a mover before. This time however I was 6 months pregnant and couldn't really do it myself. Normally when we've moved we've had a couple guys (max 3) help us out and its taken the better part of an afternoon to load and unload (putting stuff where we wanted it) more

All My Sons of Indianapolis moved my complete home in January 2008. I would just like to express many thanks for the WOUNDERFUL move. Probably the "Best" move I've ever had. They arrived an hour later than promised, due to a bad map. I have four concerns. Pros: They showed up. I had past experiences where the mover didn't show-up Cons: Mix-up on boxes, but easily over-come. more

If you use this company I wish you luck...hopefully you won't be overcharged or screwed over like we were for our move. My husband and I were moving from a small two bdrm/1 bth bungalow into a 1300 sq ft apartment in which we only had one bedroom set and living rm set plus boxes and clothes. We were told this move would be approx. 3hrs and the movers would arrive b/t 11am-1pm. The crew of two finally showed at 3pm after doing another job before ours in which they were exhausted. They then slowly moved us until 11pm. We were charge for 9 hours of service plus surcharges and gas (we moved 6miles away) that were never mentioned up front. Our total for our 6 mile, small house move cost us almost $1000! We were Totally ripped off. Pros: Moving men were friendly Cons: Overcharged and way too slow-costing the mover more $$$ more
