hello rob i see your not the only one that has bad exprience ,having home care are big risk and i am a worker in home care, and i have seen alot , i dnt hv a clue what kind of contract you had with the company but when things like that happen they do investagate the sitution on top of the worker being found gulity she is probly not working there any more now when you take the person that did the crime to civil court and win they feel as if that person is responsible sorry that you experience this lost and maybe they could hv handle it differently but being a high volume of complaints and some find not to be true they hv a procedure to follow before just paying out money and also they try to keep those thiefs out of the company and hope to not expreince them kind again may be private care would be best if you dont feel unconfort with different people in your home sorry for the lost and know that all metro doesnt mean any harm by not responding right away but they may hv a high volume of clients to care for as well as they still provided care for you at the time of the sitution and thats good you took the step in protecting your rights as a person may you be blessed with better care have a nice day more

Hello, I'm just going to brush over some of the highlights and more details will be made available upon request. I am a patient who receives help under the TBI waiver program. A few years back I employed the help of All-Metro out of the Schenectady NY office. Soon after they entered my home cash and jewelery was disappearing pretty regularly. There was several aids in my home at the time so I played it safe and had my local Sheriff install a surveillance camera in my bedroom. The 1st night the camera saw an All-Metro aid stealing Hydrocodine out of the same drawer everything else was stolen from. When the police went to arrest her they found my grandfathers diamond and gold ring on her boyfriends finger. Now I'm realistic and know there is good and bad aids in every agency but where my problem is with an agency that completely turns there back on the patient claiming no responsibility!
