He came by to my house after I had been fighting with Southern California Edison for 3 years on electric bills being over 500-800 dollars a month. I have had 3 electricians come over and test various things with no results. He simply pulled off my panel and started doing a Panel Tuning/Maintenance. As he was doing this he came across a few breakers that were loose we both watched the meter slow 50% when he started to tighten. What amazes me is that the Electric company does not give a hoot about you, they want you to spend money. Do yourself a favor Hire All Lights to come and at least do a panel tuning. You will save money! more

Right off the bat he returns all calls and lets you know if he will be a little late. Charles will give a basic estimate over the phone just to let you know what the cost of repairs will be. He originally thought I needed an entire electrical panel but was able to reduce the cost by locating just the part that was bad within the panel resulting in less cost.\r \r When he arrived he was very polite and explained evrything he was going to do and why the problem occured. My brother is an out of state electrical contractor and everything Charles diagnoised, my brother agreed with...and I have a lot of confidence in my brother. \r \r Charles prices were very fair and you can trust him. In a word: Superb! \r \r I would recommend All Lights Electrical Service to anyone for their electrical needs. They will certainly be on my permanent list of trusted contractors for future work. \r \r In preparation of an evening party, last Saturday I bought pool table lights requiring installation in my game room on short notice. Adding further difficulty, the light set I bought was missing some necessary pieces and the billiard shop where I bought them was closed for the day.\r \r I used the Yellow Pages and first called a few of the companies with the full paged ads. After three tries (none of the bigger companies could come right away), I considered immediate installation a lost cause. It was just by luck I thought to try one more time, this time looking for a smaller business. Charles Velez of All Lights answered, I explained my situation, and he was at my place within the hour. \r \r I found Mr. Velez to be a very professional and resourceful electrician. After identifying that I was missing pieces for the installation, it would have been reasonable for him to tell me he couldn't or wouldn't do the job because things were missing, go back to the store ... and still charge me for the visit. Instead, he went to his toolbox and with a little creativity, Mr. Velez made the installation, and it was truly a great job.\r \r In addition to the fine workmanship, I considered Mr. Velez' humility and friendly nature an added bonus. It was only after speaking to him while he was working that I found out he was the owner of All Lights, and here he was working on a Saturday evening when he could have just sent one of his employees. I was happy with the work and workmanship of the job ... it just took a lot longer than I thought it would. Make sure you are clear to Charlie that you want any work permitted as he may not quote you that route to begin with. The only reason I lowered the rating is because he didn't complete the permit inspection work - I ended up getting a duplicate checklist card and setting up the inspection after waiting for 2 weeks and no action on Charlie's part. Pros: Good price Cons: The man is a talker and it slows down the work - most of which he has others doing. more
