There was two of us there when the nurses and doctor put the muzzle on our dog and watched...The handling of the dog was not really all that professional and then we were told my dog was given wormer on the bill...but both of us knew that was impossible unless they mixed it into one of the shots...When we called they said it was orally, hmmm. Dr M was not the one doing any of this check up, so I can't say that he even knows, but the ones that took care of my dog won't get another chance to do anything else. more

I cannot say enough about All Creatures Veterinary Clinic. We lost our Berner last fall and I have never seen such compassionate and caring people. I would not hesitate to recommend the doctors and staff at All Creatures to anyone for any reason. They love your dog almost as much as you do. we were referred here to our dog's breeder who has been taking her dogs here for a while. We took our sheepdog there and were very pleasantly surprised with the best care, knowledgeable staff, state of the art equipment and amazing prices, very affordable especially in our economy. They always have all medications,vaccinations, etc. on hand and even offer wonderful puppy/adult training classes and boarding facilities at their lodge. I will NEVER go anywhere else. Perfect place to choose for your animal's health! Pros: Very caring, state of the art equipment, reasonably priced more

Our cat Charcoal was very sick Sunday morning. We called & left a message @ the clinic. We were contacted within 5 minutes. We took him to the clinic immediately. Upon arrival, the vet placed us in a room, did a check-over of him, & explained that he probably had cancer, and that it would be a miracle if he survived the night. She said she'd take some x-rays to see if anything could be done. About an hour later, she called, saying they couldn't do anything for him. She told us that the best thing would be to have him euthanized. We had him put to sleep, & picked him up in the afternoon. The vet was very compassionate with us, having his body wrapped up & placed into a box. We brought him home for burial. On Wednesday, we received a very nice & heartwarming condolence card from the vets office. It had a poem in with it as well, as well as the entire staff submitting their signatures on the card. What a great & touching thing for them to do! It really meant a whole lot to us! more

Dr Markley and his staff are the best animal care folks in this area. I have been taking my animals there for many years he has taken care of them in life and death and he is the most caring animal and people person I ever had the pleasure of meeting.\r he's a good guy and cares so much aboutyour pets well being. I have never seen him turn away an animal their good people more

I will try to make a long story short.....I have a miniature pygmy goat that was attacked by a neighborhood dog as he was grazing in my front yard........ when I called Dr. Markley's Office for help and advise, I was told that ""Billy"" would have to be seen by another Vet. (I'm assuming it was the answering service since it was the weekend, I can't remember now)?? ~ I don't know what happened in meantime but, while I was on my way to another Vet in the Akron Area, Dr. Markley called me back almost right away and told me that he could indeed see my lil Billy~ It ended up that Billy would have to spend the night but, Billy came home with great results the following day, further medical instructions and medicine~ I was never so happy to see a VET calling my phone and hearing his reassuring voice on the other end telling me to bring my little guy in. Last but, certainly not least...... ""The Finacial"" part of it was phenomenal, I didn't expect such a cheap rate considering the circumstances. We are grateful for YOU AND YOUR STAFF Dr. Markley! Thank YOU and we look forward to having all of our animals seen and treated by you and your wonderful staff~ more

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Markley since he was on Main street in Rittman. Last Fall my chocolate lab started getting ill and all the symptoms led to some sort of liver disease. Because of the unusual symptoms and Rocky not getting better, Dr. Markley contacted other vets, including sending Rocky's test records to an internal Vet specialist to verify he was being treated according to the symptoms. That should show anyone that Dr. Markley will do anything needed to care for your pet including asking for advise outside his clinic. As is was, it was a rare stomach cancer that was hard to detect and the result was putting the dog down. Dr. Markley's dedication to animal care and comfort will never be questioned in my opinion. more

We would like to say from the bottom of our hearts that we are very thankful for the fast and Excellent Care for my mothers Chi-Chi. I would like to also say thank you for proving my mother wrong on your clinic. Thank you straight from my heart to Derri for her advice on the phone for the treatnment that Chi-Chi needed. Thank you Dr. Markley for the quick diagnosis of her and for getting her into surgery so fast.Thank you to Michelle for being at Chi-Chi's side through the surgery and making sure that she would be good throught the night untill someone comes in in the a.m. hours. I would recommend All Creatures Veterinary Clinic to anyone. The staff has the utmost care and concern for these 4 legged family members. We recently had to put our almost ten year old German Shepherd Renee down the other day. It was a hard decision to make, but knew it was best for her due to her downhill health issues. The staff was very kind and compassionate, and Dr. Markley was excellent. He has been our vet for her since we bought her at 61/2 weeks old. We are fortunate to have their facility so close to us. Thank you again for all of your help with her. more

I have gone to Dr Markleys "All Creatues Vet" for the past 13 years. Would not go anywhere else. They have all the top equipment. State of the art! The people working for him are top notched, caring professionals. Dr Markley relates to your animal and to you by answering all your questions and giving you all the information needed. Very nice person on top of all his expertise. The real deal.\r His prices are very reasonable compared to the gauging of local vets.\r If you love your pet and want the best. My dog was taken to another vet for years, she developed a skin disease that this other vet said was nothing and sent us home. When she continued to get worse I began talking to friends and was told about Dr. Markle at All Creatures Vet. I took my dog there only to find out that she had skin cancer. Dr. Markle treated her for almost 3 months before she passed on. There prices were reasonable and there care was FANTASTIC. We recently got a puppy and I will not take her any place else. Dr. DelRosa has joined the practice and has looked after our puppy for all her shots and taken the time to answer all my questions. They are a great place for to take your animals, they care for them as if they were part of their family. more

We take both of our animals to All Creatures and are very pleased. Dr. Markley is very caring and gets down with the animals while examining them, which makes both the animal and owner happy! The staff is very caring, friendly and helpful. They also have a complete line of pet medication and food to make it a one stop trip. Our whole family is very satisfied with All Creatures. more
