Keep in mind that many of these reviews are fake, just look at the use of catchphrases. This hospital has some serious issues. The Dr I saw was very scatterbrained and insensitive to both my pet and myself. It really seems like the owners are in it for the money. They are very expensive for how little time you actually get with the Dr. He didn't explain anything and barely looked at my dog. I have spoken to friends who have had similar experiences and have not returned. Some real horror stories. more

Thanks All Creatures.........The staff is the best in Clermont County. They make me feel like family. They seem to be very close to each and work so well together. My interaction Friday was with Kelly and Carmen. Ashley checked me out. You girls are wonderful as well as the rest of the staff. \r \r more

As a breeder of top Shiba Inu show dogs and owner of several exotic pets, good vet care is very important to us. We have been using All Creatures for well over 20 years and can not say enough good about Dr Meakin and his staff. Dr Dan is a top notch surgeon and has all the latest technology. Office hours are very convenient and we can always get an appointment when we need one. I would recommend All Creatures Animal hospital to all pet lovers. more

Best Vet 2/15/2012

I have been bringing my dogs to All Creatures for almost 18 years and the care they and specifically Dr. Dan Meakin have provided to my animals has been excellent. Most recently my little dog June Bug ran into a rose bush and severely injured her eye. After a surgery and a small time wearing a contact lens not only was her eye saved but she retained her sight as well. After Dr. Meakin preformed the surgery one night I had a few concerns and emailed him very late in the evening....he promptly emailed me back answering all of my questions. I am so grateful to him and his staff for all they have done to help me and my pets/family. Thank you more

Dr Dan at All Creatures saved our kitten. 12/23/2011

I have always went to All Creatures in Amilia, Ohio. Then we moved 75miles away. So I had to put my trust in a new vet(BIG MISTAKE) I will drive the 75 miles 1 way to go to all creatures.I have to explain what happen to tell you why I will never let anyone except All Creatures touch my animals/family members.\r I have a kitten that was in bad shape, couldn't breath, eat or drink,But was determin to live. I took him to Banfield pet hospital (Don't ever take your pet if you care about them there) end of july till beginning of december my poor kitten struggled to survive & getting worse going to them. He was about nine months old now & only 2lbs,Banfield put him under & neutered him as sick as he was, they alsost killed him, then sent him home same day. When I picked him up the vet there said if he didn't get better I would have to put him down.\r There was no way he was being put down, he wanted to eat, he played even though he could not eat enough to keep a bird alive & couldn't breath. The knew at Banfield there was a growth in his throat,I mentioned removing it, but she said she never seen anything like it & was not touching it. They talked me into insurance for him & said it would not cover if he were to have surgery (which they would not do anyway).I told them I felt like my baby was a expermint to them, he was going in every other week getting different meds which were doing nothing,I believe they neutered him only for the money(they billed insurance).\r Ok So I wanted my kitten to live as much as he wanted to live. I took him to see Dr.Dan at All Creatures in Amelia, Oh. He had him fixed up in 1 day. Took the Polyp out of his throat & put him on right meds. The next day when I picked him up & got him home I noticed a big difference. He was breathing & went straight to eating & drinking. Its been about 3 weeks now since Dr. Dan fixed him right up & he is doing great. I only wish I had taken him sooner so he wouldn't have suffered the way he did. I took all records to Dr. Dan & he seen, the meds Banfield gave him shouldn't have been given to him, & dosage Banfield had him on was way too much.\r This Place is the Best, not only are they good Doctors But they care about you & your pet.I will drive The 70 miles or so to have my animals in good hands. more

Wow, what a great experience! 9/26/2011

I recently brought two of my dogs in for their yearly shots and exams. We saw Dr. Newland, and really enjoyed meeting her. She did a great job educating my husband and I about heartworm and flea prevention, and we left feeling very pleased. We were quite surprised several weeks later when we received ID cards for each dog in the mail! What a nice service All Creatures offered from beginning to end. We have a grooming appointment set up in a few weeks, and we are also considering boarding our dogs at All Creatures over the holidays. We would highly recommend All Creatures to our friends and family! more

Over the top care! 12/6/2010

I recently had an after-hours emergency with my dog, and instead of heading to the pricey emergency clinics I called All Creatures and was thrilled to find out a doctor was on call. I was met by the doctor at the clinic, and my pet was treated for much less than had I gone to a 24 hour clinic. I was very pleased with the care my dog received, and I will certainly continue to recommend All Creatures to my friends and family. more

Best Vet care in Cincinnati 11/18/2010

I have been going to All Creatures for 15 years. I am truly pleased with what kind of practice they have built. I can get total pet care under on roof just like the say! I have had everything from an ACL repair to boarding to training and grooming done there. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experiance. They are open 7 days a week and they always have a doctor on call! Who else can say that. We are very blessed to have such great doctors and a caring staff so close to us! more

Cincinnati's Most Affordable & Caring Vet Hospital 6/9/2010

I have taken my animals to All Creatures for almost 20 years. Many of my pets have come and gone over the years. I would not trust anyone one else. They are always happy to see me and it is nice to see familiar faces that we have seen over the years. Healthcare can be expensive, but they are always willing to help me decide what is best for me and my pet. If you are unsure of anything, they are always there to answer any questions I may have. Best clinic for care in the tri-state area. If you are looking for free vet care, not sure where you will find it. Pros: Great Vets and Caring Staff more

Are there any vets who care about more than money? 10/8/2009

All Creatures could be a fantastic vet hospital if they would lose the concern over making every cent they can off of clients. When you call on the phone, they give you a reasonable estimate, but then when you pay your bill there are all of these extra charges for little things like ear cleaning, nail trim, IV pump use, etc...etc...etc...If you are taking a pet in for something as simple as a spay or neuter, be prepared for the surgery team to belittle you for not agreeing to have pre-surgery bloodwork run as well as an IV and fluids during the procedure. If you attempt to sign the form declining these added services, you will receive a lecture about how you are a bad owner because you are putting your pet at risk.\r It seems that the concern is more about how much they can make than actually helping pets. It is sad that many vet hospitals have fallen into this money trap. I miss the old days when you actually felt that vets cared and were not just out to make money off of you and your pet. I can understand the need for vets to make a living and pay their bills, but since when is it right to get rich off of sick pets and owners who care?\r Another issue with this clinic is the wait. Even with an appointment, you will have a long wait to be put in a room and then you will have an even longer wait to see a doctor. In the mean time, a tech who seems to know nothing will come in and ask a bunch of questions...I am not sure why as the doctor will later come in and ask the same questions. The wait is especially frustrating when you have a pet such as mine who is terrified to be at the vet in the first place. \r The receptionists are for the most part cold and do not seem very well educated. A few are just plain lazy and won't even get off of their chair for anything.\r I am hoping that there are some vets out there who still care about more than just money. I would advise you to seek one of those veterinary hospitals out for your pet's care. Pros: open great hours, ability to treat many problems Cons: overbilling for services, feel like a number, uncaring more

Take your animal somewhere else 10/6/2009

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE! THEY OVER CHARGE YOU AND LOVE TO RUN UNNECESSARY TESTS TO PAD THEIR BILL. JUST ASK MY ELDERLY MOTHER-IN-LAW, THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HER AND RAN A BATTERY OF TESTS ON A DOG THAT WAS DYING AND THEY KNEW IT, CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE, DUH. FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR VET BILL. ALSO, IF THEY ASK TO CLIP YOUR ANIMAL'S NAILS, DON'T LET THEM. THEY NEGLECT TO TELL YOU THAT YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR IT. THEY DON'T GIVE YOU AN ITEMIZED BILL UNTIL AFTER YOU PAY. MY CAT ATE SOMETHING SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE AND IT GAVE HER DIARRHEA. THEY WOULDN'T JUST GIVE ME THE MEDICINE WITHOUT SEEING HER. THEY WANT ME TO COME IN (THEY GET MORE MONEY) BECAUSE THEY SAID SHE COULD HAVE WORMS. THEY DEWORMED HER LAST MONTH AND THAT WAS JUST IN CASE THEY SAID. HER FECAL SAMPLE CAME BACK FINE, SHE DIDN'T NEED IT. SHE WAS DEWORMED THE MONTH BEFORE THAT ALSO, BUT WAS FROM THE PLACE I RESCUED HER FROM. I AM PULLING MY ANIMALS FROM THIS CLINIC AND WILL TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE NOT SO MONEY HUNGRY. I REFUSE TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF ANYMORE AND IF YOU'RE SMART YOU'LL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TOO. Pros: Good vets Cons: Pads your bill more
