All American Air Conditioning & Appliance Service

All American charged me $290 to replace a capacitor in my heat pump because, according to the gentlemen who answered the phone, ""That's what I charge. That's what a lot of guys charge."" Keep in mind the capacitor is a $30 part that requires about 15 minutes of labor to install. $290 seems a little high to me. Even if there is a 100% markup on the part - that's almost $1000 per hour for labor. I purchased my heat pump from All American and have used them exclusively for every service over the past 9 years but I won't use them again after this apparent price gouging. more

in Tampa for the same service. The repairmen came and quoted me a price of $225.00 to blow out my drainage line, that price seemed high so I called Anchor air, Nuccio, Acree-air, etc all priced same service at $100.00, so I called and spoke to the office manager and explained that 4 of their competitors could be out to my house within the hour and do the same work for $100.00, and if he wanted my business that he would need to match their price, I mean 4 different companies all quoted me that price, and he refused!!!! I paid the $79.95 estimate, and sent the guys on their way, I thought that would be the end of bad experience WRONG they never cleaned up after themselves and left insulation all over my laundry room. Will never use them again very unprofessional. Use Anchor Air much better company to deal with and fairly priced repairs more

TRUSTWORTHY & TALENTED!! I have used this company for 5 years starting with a previous property I owned. Patrick was so nice and straight forward about what was wrong, what could be fixed and what should be replaced. In September of 2009 our air conditioner just stopped (UGH). Patrick said he could fix it, but I told him to install a new unit. He didn't even push me. It was my decision because I knew the old unit was on its last legs. He installed our new Trane within days of the old one breaking. Most importantly, he was swamped with customers and the whole time I felt like a priority and he worked literally day and night to make sure we were taken care of. He gave me the paperwork to turn in for my $1,500 Energy Saver Rebate which I received when I filed my 2009 taxes. Someone always answers the phone and I love that. It is so incredibly hard to find good people and good, honest workers now days. My experience over the last 5 years with All Tech Air has been flawless. Not to mention, we are super cool, again.
