All About Puppies

We have purchased two of our dogs at All About Puppies... first was a Papillion and our second was a sweet Boston Terrier. Both purchases were perfect... great service, great healthy dogs, great price. We also take our dog there for grooming regularly and they do a fantastic job. Groomers really know how to put the dogs at ease which is a plus. Cannot recommend this place enough. more

Growing up in La Mirada has given me the opportunity to see many business come and go. All About Puppies has managed to stay in business in probably the toughest 4 years in recent history. I firmly believe this is due to the unsurpassed caring and effort of the owners, employees and groomers to provide quality care and love to all animals and people that come in the front door. That store is always clean and they puppies for sale are always well cared for and happy. The condition and behavior of adult grooming dogs can never be predicted. Still the utmost care of the animal is the greatest concern and is handled to the best of any one persons ability. These are the reasons why I would never take my 2 dogs any where else. If there is any doubt in anyone's mind they just need to go see for them selves. more

I have a yorkie from All About Puppies. She has a great temperment. She fits in great with our family and other (larger) dogs. She is very healthy. But she came with a gaurantee. All About Puppies is the only shop that ever grooms my dogs. My Yorkie goes there regularly for bathing and cuts. They take great care of her. You won't find a more ethical shop, nicer groomers or better customer service. Pros: Only place I would shop for puppies. more

I bought a beautiful chihuahua puppy from the La Mirada location in February. The puppy was about 3 months old and now is 8 months. He is the best dog I have ever met and quite possibly the cutest. There is a catch!!!!! \r \r About two weeks ago my puppy started to lose his hair is several patches. I took him to the vet today and after a couple tests was told he has inherited MANGE from his mother. There is a possiblity he may never be able to get rid of the mange and it will constantly show up throughout his lifetime. \r \r All about puppies guarantees their dogs and says they buy from local breeders. Well, it is obvious this establishment is practicing bad business and not holding up to the standard they claim to meet. IT IS A KNOWN FACT AMONG DOG LOVERS; DOGS WITH HEREDITARY PARASITES CAUSING MANGE SHOULD NOT BE BRED!! \r \r I am greatly disappointed and sad that this has happened to me and more importantly my dog. I have given my dog a home and I will always love him no matter what his appearance is. \r \r In my opinion, All About Puppies is not worth any slander or angry words I could offer them. more

I would normally never buy a dog from a pet store, but All about Puppies uses only local breeders that have been screened. I bought a dachshund puppy from the pet store in the Brea Mall and she had elbow dysplasia, which I'm sure was from poor breeding at a puppy mill. Surgery was over $3,000.00, so will never do that again. I would, however, buy a puppy from all about puppies. It's nice to see that people are concerned about getting you a quality dog and not about getting your money. The groomer is good too. Great with my grumpy wiener dog! Pros: Great quality puppies more
