I had a great experience with CJ. The location was easy for me to get to from Manoa Valley, using the bus. The room was very clean, and had a great peaceful air to it. She made me very comfortable with my bikini wax. Also, I am super picky with my eyebrows, and she did a great job! I definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone! Pros: CJ has a great personality, made me very comfortable, lovely environment... Cons: honestly...none! more

Been a fan of CJ's since moving from LA to Hawaii in 2005. Location is quiet, convenient and clean. Waxing and facial services are just as good as luxury spas without the inflated tourist pricing. Pros: Service Cons: Get there 15 minutes early so you don't have to worry about parking. more

I avoided getting a brazilian when I moved home from CA because it's an ackward thing to have done by someone you don't know. I tried a lady my friend recommended but it was awful...I found CJ on City Search and based on her rave reviews I decided to give her a try. She made me feel comfortable over the phone when I made my appointment and in person she is SO nice and does SUCH a good job (quick and painless as it can possibly be) that I will never go anywhere else. more

I was recommeded to CJ by my friends and their mother. They were so pleased with her work, and assured me that I would be too. Boy were they right. I had gotten a bikini wax before (not a Brazillian) in NY. The service was definitely not anything near what CJ provides. As soon as you walk in she you are greeted by the calming atmosphere. CJ puts you at ease (if you are nervous like I was), but moreover, she is very quick, efficient, and professional. Although there were times when i understandably felt pain, it was bearable and not attributable to her technique. I am very pleased with the results, and I can honestly say that I am believer in this whole brazillian waxing thing. I am also wanting to try additional services from CJ like her facials. I first heard about CJ from my mom. After getting my facial done once, I had to keep going back monthly!! My mom and I continue to go to CJ for facials because of the great service and treatment we get. CJ is so friendly and great. Her facials are heavenly!! Once you step into the room you'll be relaxed! Being new to the Island, I researched to find a good waxer to do my Brazilians, the first search I did on city search took me to All about Facials and Waxing. I read all the positive reviews and I am sure glad that I went to see CJ. She is so friendly and welcoming. I am used to the wax that is green and is peeled off the skin. I have never had a Brazilian with the strip wax so I was nervous at first. She reassured me that this wax was better and she was right. There was hardly any discomfort and she keeps you distracted so you can barely feel anything. I will definitely be using her from here on out! Pros: everything! So much better than shaving ! I always wanted to try a brazillian wax and was nervous about it but CJ was awesome, made me feel very comfortable. It was not as painful as I expected, CJ worked in small sections and it was as uncomfortable was a brow wax or lip wax. I had no post wax effects or problems. Loved the smooth feeling and hair regrowth is softer and not coarse like shaving can be. The atmosphere is clean and calming. I recommend CJ to all my friends and patients! She's the best!! My mother and I have been regular customers of CJ for many years. Through all these years CJ has been nothing but caring and passionate about what she does. Not once has she ever been unprofessional, unreliable, or unsatisfying. She isn't just another junk place to get a cheap facial or wax, she is highly trained in skin care - and she can improve your skin! I have sensitive skin and CJ is always extra cautious and gentle when working on me. I am EXTREMELY particular about my eyebrows - everything from the shape and thickness to the distance apart to what kind of wax is used, and CJ always listens and gives me exactly what I want. I've left other places in tears because they've taken off skin, left me red for days, and inflamed my skin! My mother and I have never once had a bad experience from CJ and I doubt we ever will. CJ uses the best, natural, products in the business which always leaves me feeling fresh and refined. She isn't overpriced but rather extremely reasonable for the end results. I went in for a brazilian wax with CJ after reading all of the ""wonderful"" reviews I have seen on here, thinking I was going to have a great experience, unfortunately it was the worst experience I have ever had, not from the pain, but from the results! When I was in the room with CJ she kept saying all these great things about herself, like ""I'm the best on the island"", ""I come highly recommended"", ""you'll have no pain"", ""you'll look so nice after, it will be all clean"". So she really had me going, she is a great talker....loves to talk about her so-called talent. Ok, so when she finished, there was still spots of hair that she missed-obvious spots at that! Also the way she pulled off the wax strips, ripped a layer of skin off and left me discolored, bruised and chapped! She didn't bother to reposition my legs or herself to pull off the strip the correct way or direction! I have had brazilians before and I have never had anyone rip off the strip the way she did. The skin should be taut, but not once did she make sure that it was. It was very painful. I couldn't believe that I spent $80 on her to ruin my skin, and to have me cleaning up all the spots she missed after! CJ is not all that she thinks she is. Don't let her fool you when she's talking herself up. She has horrible service and was a waste of money. If you are going to spend that much, you should not have to retouch the work yourself! She is way over priced! I would recommend other places over her, like Ho'onani Salon and Day Spa or even Elements Day Spa. They are way better priced and have much better service! CJ is a phony! I always make sure to have a facial from CJ when I'm in town visiting my family. I'm in Honolulu this week and dropped in on Tuesday. I had not seen her in almost two years and found my experience to be as amazing and top-notch as ever. She is friendly and really knows her stuff. She has given me sound advice on how to take care of my skin and her welcoming manner and the way she makes you feel special is wonderful. After visiting her I always get comments from people about how great I look. I can not say enough good things about her. If you need a facial I can't think of a better choice. I highly recommend CJ at All About Facials & Waxing. I've found CJ to be intelligent and trustworthy as well as cheerful. From the moment I arrive - to the moment I leave - I am embraced with comfort of true pampering. I went to CJ for my brazilian wax last week and she was very good. I was afraid that given my skin tone that I would end up with rashes and the experience will be very painful. She was very nice, took her time and overall it was a good experience. I will definitely go back to her for my waxes. more

I have been a long time customer of CJ at all about facials and waxing for five years now. She did my first Brazilian wax for me and yes the first time was painful because I was so tense. She was fast yet efficient and I learned to relax now, which makes the waxing less painful. She is also a very good makeup artist too and a dear friend!! Her spa is far from being unsanitary and I highly recommend her. more

Although mostly polite, and willing to give me my money back. I developed a rash from either the wax, or from CJ touching the wax and bacteria growing in it. It was a very painful experience, and I would not recommend it for anyone. Cons: Rash, unsanitary practices. more

CJ is nothing short of fantastic. After living in Los Angeles, and getting great waxes in Beverly Hills for over 10 years, I?ve had to search long and hard for a good Brazilian wax in Honolulu. After enduring many awful (and horrifically expensive waxes), I luckily happened upon the glowing reviews of CJ on Citysearch and Yelp. I was cynical about trying another place, but I am so glad that she did! I easily found metered parking across from the nondescript white building in Kaimuki. After walking down the quiet hallway, and upon entering the suite, I was greeted with a cool, soothing, clean, and serene waiting room, with fresh water available in the corner. CJ was warm, friendly, and professional. Her technique was flawless and totally painless. I have endured hundreds of waxes in my lifetime, and I have never experienced a waxing experience that was this pleasant, or this fast. I will NEVER go to another waxer in Honolulu. If you are looking for a high-quality, spa-style waxing experience with a reasonable price tag, book an appt. with CJ ASAP. more

so i'm the kind of girl that isn't really into the whole ""beauty is pain"" deal and was basically only getting a brazilian because the fiance ""requested"" it for our anniversary. i've heard horror stories and was definitely expecting a lot of pain for my first go around, with the comfort level being at a lovely pelvic exam. CJ gave me suggestions on what she could do and was so FAST i was in and out within 20 mins- no joke. seriously, just chatting distracted me enough from the slight twinges and before i knew it i was putting my pants back on :) CJ is very professional and sanitary- as soon as you walk in the door you get a feel-good-vibe and automatically start relaxing. didn't feel uncomfortable one bit! i will DEFINETELY RECCOMMEND her to all of my friends- very very reasonably priced as well!\r \r only downside- kinda hard to locate... so if you are going for the first time, plan a couple mins extra to park (metered) and find the building. The customer service is AWESOME!!! The atmosphere is Very friendly, welcoming and comfortable. I used to go all over the place to find a person that did great brow waxing and I was so happy to finally have found CJ! She does a great job; the brows are always even and nicely shaped. The facials are heaven....if you just need YOU time, i totally recommend this, because it gives you a chance to totally relax and get a great face cleaning and massage at the same time!!! Once you get one facial, beleive me, you'll want to come back and get more!!!! You leave with the softest and cleanest skin ever and a great big smile on your face with total satisfaction!!! more
