Alisos Animal Hospital

I have gone to Alisos Animal Hospital since it opened and could not recomend a more caring concerned Vet and his staff. I have two black Chow Chows, and most Vets really do not want to treat them, let alone befriend them. Dr. Dave has been the best Vet with the attitude of doing what is best for your pet. I couldn't begin to explain what a breath of fresh air he is and his staff in treating our two Chows. Dr. Bahou is really on top of it when it comes to putting your pet's best interest first. I do not agree with the negative comment at all, especially if you had taken your pet there for over a year! Really? I totally recomend Dr. Bahou and his staff. I now live in Arizona and still make the trip to California for my Chow's care. This is a kind, loving and caring Doctor. more

I only go to Alisos Animal Hospital! The front desk, doctor, and assistants are great with my little dog. The service is great. The price is fair. They even have organic food and holistic services. more

The front desk in very inviting and helpful before I see the doctor. I have two dogs and I take them to Alisos Animal Hospital for all their medical treatments. The service is quick so I don't spend my whole day at the vet. more

Alisos Animal Hospital take great care of my dogs. They take care of my dogs during regular check ups and I buy food from them. Its organic. more

Do NOT visit them for a holistic vet consultation. They charged me $100 and said my dog would be examined for an hour. I got no more than 10 minutes of DR time. Most the time was me explaining all the chemicals the other vets wanted to shove down his throat. THEY FREAKIN CAME BACK WITH $200 INVOICE OF MEDICINE, THE SAME STUFF I JUST TOLD THEM I DON'T WANT TO GIVE TO HIM THAT WASN'T WORKING!!!. WORST VET VISIT EVER AND WORST EXPERIENCE. I have been going to Alisos Animal Hospital for a long time and I have nothing but praise for Dr. B and his staff. Everyone is nice and they seem to actually care about my dog. Dr. Bahou is always willing to give me another option not just the most expensive one...much appreciated! more

BEWARE! While this so-called Vet, appears to be loving and caring and seems to knowledgeable, he is NOT! He has NO registered Vet Techs on Staff and He would rather sit in his office and read the newspaper, then be bothered with patients. Over the course of a year, I spent nearly $15,000 between my two dogs at Dr. Bahou's clinic, because I thought he had my pet's best interest at heart! I won't go into details, however this ""doctor"" nearly left my dog DEAD after a routine spay! I was told to come and pick up my dog after this procedure only to find no doctor and two kids looking after my dog and an ice cold unconscious dog that had to be carried to my car by 4 people! As we walked to the car, I was told by Dr. Bahou's staff that my dog was being ""stubborn and Lazy"". Once we had our dog in the car we went straight to the emergency hospital, only to be told our dog most likely would not make it through the night as she was bleeding out from her spay not being performed properly and in shock! I am sure Dr. Bahou' was in a hurry to get to his son's football practice!! $8,000 and one week later my dog left the emergency hospital, and we have a new Vet! Don't take my word for it, check it out yourself, this guy has records with the OC court systems, has sued other veterinary doctors and hospitals and doesn't even have a licensed vet tech performing procedures on your pets!
