Excellent food & great service 7/22/2010

I am the owner of ABC Physical Therapy & Hand Therapy Somerville NJ and have been going to Alfonso's for lunch & dinner for over 7 years & tell all my patients and friends to eat at Alfonso's because the food is great and the service is excellent, I have NEVER had a bad meal at Alfonso's so I rate them a 10+ or a Five Star. Pros: The service is a 10+ and the food is excellent Cons: The place is always packed because the food is so good more

Good family restaurant 12/24/2009

I have been eating here for years and it's usually good. Once in a while the service can be uneven, especially when they are crowded as they are on weekends. The specials are generous and the waiters are friendly. Pros: Good reasonably priced family Italian food Cons: Often crowded and noisy more

Best Baked Ziti 10/24/2002

The food here is great and the prices very reasonable. The portions are huge. The baked ziti al forno is the best! It can tend to get crowded at times, Friday at lunch time and also in the evening.
