I have taken my Land Rover Discovery II to Alex on a recommendation many times now. For the many issues the vehicle has often had Alex and his staff not only provided quick and professional service and repair at very reasonable rates, but also took the time to explain the issues in an understandable manner while also providing me good maintenance tips for day to day. Alex and his staff are courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. I have only had good experiences with this shop compared to his competitors elsewhere in Utah. I would safely recommend anyone to take their vehicle to Alex's Autohaus. Sehr gut! more

Our cars in good hands 5/22/2009

We get our cars serviced by Alex's for over 10 years now and never had any problems. Very good service and every repair gets explained. I for sure like to know my teenage kids are in a safe car. more

Bad Service Experience 5/18/2009

There was an electrical wire (02 sensor)rubbing on the drive shaft. The mechanic told me he would put tape on it and zip tie it away from the shaft. He only put tape on it and forgot to reroute the wire. This caused the wire to continue to rub and cause a failure. Alex's refused to take responsibility and didn't care about my business.Or telling every BMW owner i know. more

The customer was showed the problems on his vehicle. He declined all repairs and had damage because of one of the problems. We can not perform repairs without permission.

Good and friendly service 11/19/2008

Since many years they service 2 BMW and 1 Audi for us. Their 2 year warranty is great and they stand behind it. We also like their loaner car and shuttle service and the personal customer relations. more

Got my Audi A4 tuned there. The power is great with the APR tune. Compared to other tuners they do a boost pressure test and check up. more

This guys tuned my A4. With the APR program my car is awesome. They check all the boost pressure and computer stuff compared to other tuners. more

Too expensive BMW repair 9/5/2007

Alex Autohaus gouges its customers. Our friends recommended it when they took their Audi there. We took our BMW in and when we got the bill it was over $1000 for a couple simple repairs. One was for $500.00 to replace the Sunroof cables. After we got it back, the sunroof leaked, so we took it back thinking it would be covered under some type of warranty. They said the seal was bad and charged another $250.00. Why wouldn't they say the seal was bad when they took the roof off in the first place. How could it have gone from "ok" condition to "needing to be replaced" in a month. Doesn't it seem like it might have been something they did when they replaced the cables. Won't ever go back, either will our friends. Unfortunately there isn't too many BMW repair places, so we're kind of screwed and Alex knows how to do it. more

I strongly protest against the word gouging. Every business has to calculate their costs and charge accordingly. I am 13 years in business now. The US has a free market and you will always find different prices for a product. Gouging is fraud and we are a honest business. Yes and there are businesses that charge less than us for the same services. That is why we provide estimates
