Couldn't agree more with the above comment. Alexander McQueen is my favorite designer. I went into his place in Los Angeles and couldn't believe how rude the sales people were. I ...

Nice staff....Bad staff 5/18/2010

First time i visit McQueen LA shop, i was looked down by the staff. It seems like they have preference on the service. It's ok for me since i only want to grasp a piece of scarf for my friend. I walked through the rack and check the color, the staff just stop by and ask if everything is ok. It is normal and standard for the staff to greet and help. Even that person did the standard thing but we can surely feel there is no service mind and friendly at all. I only ask how much of the scarf since it is hard to find the tag. The staff just stop by and said ""They are all the same price. every color"".... Ok gal. I just pick one and ask the new one then pay. What an easy customer i am. Next day i returned for 2 more pieces. In my head ""All are the same price"" I grasp the one and ask for 2 new pcs. The same staff is totally changed!!!! She smiley said ""Oh I'll get them for you"" Oh Wow. A power of money!!!!! I return home and find that the new 2 pcs is more expensive so my friend call for the detail. What we got is ""No return Policy"" ""This is impossible that all color will be the same price"" ""There must be some mistakes on the tag"" Is that all your professional ????? Any Sorry word?????????? From now on, i think no more McQueen for me. Even my friend ! McQueen is died so did his brand if they still has the bad service arrogant staff in that store. more

God Save McQueen (and replace the terrible staff) 10/25/2008

Couldn't agree more with the above comment. Alexander McQueen is my favorite designer. I went into his place in Los Angeles and couldn't believe how rude the sales people were. I went in there with my fiancee to buy this cardigan I wanted but the sales women followed us around the store as if we were gonna steal something! We were basically chased out of the store. Way to sell huh? As much as i love McQueen's lines I don't find myself buying anything of his at the Los Angeles store (until the sales people are replaced) until then i will find myself in the Las Vegas store/barneys/the London Store/Marc Jacobs (the nicest staff by far, and just a crosswalk away). God Save McQueen! (but please replace the horrible staff in Los Angeles, especially that tall dark haired bi**h) \r 2 stars (would've been none if his clothes weren't so great) until the staff changes. Pros: McQueen Cons: Sales representatives more

Loved Everything/Hated Everyone 6/24/2008

I'm slightly confused by the editorial review that mentioned the salespeople as a ""h*t"" since on each of my three visits I found them to embody the worst of Los Angeles retail. Don't get me wrong, the clothes are amazing and the store itself is beautiful (I am not kidding when I say I want to live in their dressing room), but that doesn't excuse the snooty and condescending attitude of the employees. I'm not surprised that I was the only person shopping there on each of my visits, the employees manage to make it a tedious and unpleasant experience. On a positive note, I don't think it'll be like that for long. New stores often have to work out some kinks when they first open. But until that happens at McQueen, just go to Balenciaga...it's right down the street and has the most kick-ass workers of any store I know. Pros: the clothes, the architecture, the design...THE DRESSING ROOMS!!!! Cons: the staff more
