Alegria Appliance Repair

I have called Alegria Appliance repair when my dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave all broke (at separate times). Each time I call, Dan is very helpful, quick to respond, and orders the right part or suggest the right bit of advice. I am so thankful that he has helped me repair my appliances rather than throwing them away and getting new ones. I have saved lots of money by using Alegria Appliancce Repair. Pros: Very Helpful! I am having the same situation as all other reviewers now. The warranty company sent them over in Dec 09. Guys walked in for not one minute, took a look at my washer machine and said he needed to order the parts. He said he'd call when the parts came in next week. Before the week was over, I called to find out if the part came in, and left a voice message asking for a call back. No one called me back, so I called again and was told the parts came in, but he was waiting for authorization from the warranty company. He set up a time (between 2 &5) for them to fix the machine and no showed, I called at 5:05pm and no answer, I called again at 5:30pm and received a recording asking to call during their business hours. We've serviced by Alegrai Appliance Repair through Magtag customer service center. The Technician came on 12/23 and justify that we have to repair the motor and the control board. He asked us to pay for the parts first and re-scheduled to come on 12/30. But he did not show up. We left the message on his business phone but did not receive any callback...I understand that this is the holiday season but whatever he promised/scheduled, he should make it or at least should call to explain why...I am still waiting for the guy to come to fix my washer. :( more

I had the same situation as the other reviewers. The warranty company sent these chumps. Guys walked in for not one minute, took the defective piece out, said he needed to order the part, said he'd call... more than a month later we're still chasing this guy down. Finally got a hold of him, said the part came in, scheduled an appointment for the next day in a 3 hour window... no show, no call. I think I'm more upset at the warranty company for keeping these guys on board. Would give zero stars if possible. Pros: At least he showed up for the first call. Cons: Bad all-around service more

Warranty company sent repairman out 3 weeks ago. He ignored what the manual says is wrong with the dishwashwer, then says he's ordering other parts. He never calls after telling the warranty company he will call. Sets up times to do repairs, doesn't call, doesn't show. We finally decided, enough is enough, asked for a new repairman. Avoid this company at all costs. more

I dont recommend this firm based on my experience. He fixed something incorrectly and then didn't return to honor his warranty. he is rude and nasty on the phone. He did not show up for scheduled appointments. more

This company was refered to us by our appliance warranty. The guy came out and inspected our appliance. We were told that he needed to order a part for the machine, which would take 1 week. A 1 1/2 weeks went by and he never contacted us and he never answered or returned our calls. We contact our Warranty company and they said that he refused to do the repair. So we spent 2 1/2 weeks waiting and doing our laundry at the laundry mat for WHAT? more
