Not only were there delays, but some boxes they moved had broken items in them. I'm very unhappy with their service. Not using them again. more

Albuquerque Moving and Storage Co didn't move us, they ""mugged"" us. The sales person hit us over the head with a promising proposal and a price to close the deal. Once our household was loaded on their truck the rep blew us off. Extensive delay of delivery with little help or follow up from the coordinator at Albuquerque Moving and Storage. Albuquerque Moving and Storage warehouse employees carelessly handled and packed our items when they left storage. Many items were damaged beyond repair. The leg of a cast iron outdoor chair was completely broken off. A high boy dresser valued at $3,000 has a leg that is bent and wobbly now. Center leg on dresser completely broken off. Washing machine knob broken off, dryer lint cover missing....30+ unboxed items damaged. Carrier packed boxes arrived open. Carrier packed boxes arrived with the sides crushed and torn open. This company claims to have been around since the 40s, I'm amazed the company is still in business unless they have some other side operation funding them...their moving management capabilities are deplorable. Once ""the sale"" was made our rep was unresponsive and unhelpful. We felt as if we were swindled by street thugs. Hire Albuquerque Moving and Storage at your own risk. I only wish I had read all these negative reviews before we hired them. If they give you a low ball estimate...believe me you get what you pay for. The move with Albuquerque Moving and Storage will be much more costly than going with one of the more expensive estimates we received. By far the worst purchase our family has ever made. more

Buyer beware! Move on in your selection process. This is not an ethical company. The sales tactic is ""promise don't worry about delivering."" I wouldn't not recommend this company under any circumstances. Pay a little more if you must because hiring Albuqueque Moving and Storage is much more costly than you can imagine. Exactly as one other reviewer notes - - once they have your signed contract there is little to no follow-up or follow-through. (If only, I'd read these reviews before I hired them.) Once they have your belongings you're at their mercy. If you choose them, just know what you're in for....and it's not good. more

DON'T DO IT. There are many other places in Albuquerque to store or move your stuff rather than these guys. They say they handle everything with integrity and back it up with decades of years in the business but I'm sure the mafia in Italy does the same thing. These guys break, lie and steal and lack the integrity that it seriously takes to do a job that can cause you many many nights of LOST sleep. Moving is stressful. They will add to it and cause trauma. Guaranteed. Customer service is the least thing on their minds when they have you sign a contract with them. I know you might be desperate and in need but seriously, stay away from these guys. I wouldn't have given them even one star but Citysearch required at least one in order to make a review. more

Dave and Greg did a great job during our local move. They were prompt, courteous, and worked tirelessly during every minute of the process. Will definitely use again if needed! Pros: Fast (for 2 movers), polite, great price Cons: Underestimated number of people needed more

Allied.\r We should have chosen another company. Our experience was such a disappointment. Our coordination representative lied. We asked if their movers had experience. We got a 45 year old man who was experienced along with a 15 year old goof and an 18 year old who had maybe moved 1 other family. They arrived late, did not bring any food to eat or anything to drink. They brought a dog with them that peed and pood in both of our homes. The boy who packed our items did a really poor job and many things are now broken. The truck we were provided with was not big enough for the job. The delivery date was a day off. The unloading was sloppy and they didn't seem to want to please anymore. The boxes went all over the house in the wrong rooms. Items that were obviously broken were not brought to our attention, but hidden. Lovely, huh? They did not put items back together, say for example our bed and headboard. A tread on our stairs was broken due to the clumsy boy. The other boy slammed the dolly into our hardwood floors. \r \r Were they prepared? No. Were they professional?
