Used Alamo on July 7, 2008 while visiting Anaheim via San Diego. My wife and I picked up our car in San Diego and drove to Anaheim to take care of business and start our vacation. Mike of Alamo in San Diego was pleasant but he failed to make sure that our request to pay in advance for our tank of gas was entered into our rental contract. We dropped off the car in Anaheim and was disappointed to discover we had to take our rental car back on the road to fill the fuel tank. I would have imagine the young lady at the Anaheim Alamo would have just charged us for the tank of fuel. The dissatisfaction I have is I don't want to be burdened with filling the rental car with fuel, isn't that why car rental companies offer the option to prepay for the tank of fuel? I used the GPS option and found it somewhat simple to use however, when returning the car we did not find the specific return location. I will try another car rental firm in the future and hope that the next company is a customer oriented company.
Pros: Nice car
Cons: Customer service
