Dr. Niccoli is one of the best doctors I have ever had! I had two foot sugeries done by him, one on each foot. The surgeries could not have gone any more smoothly than they did. Dr. Niccoli and his staff were very caring and always made me feel very comfortable during my appointments. Over the past 12 years, Dr. Niccoli and I have consultated on each others cases and assisted each other at surgery. During each of these many interactions, I have found Dr. Niccoli to be very thorough, caring, and knowledgeable. His surgical skills and technique are excellent. Among his peers, Dr.Niccoli is outstanding. If I had a foot or ankle problem, Dr. Niccoli would be my choice for a treating physician... he is that good. I hate doctors, I have my reasons. Dr. Niccoli is top-notch, and in this case, I have set aside my white coat syndrome. If I didn't like him or the service he provides, I wouldn't go back for follow-ups or treatment on new ailments. \r \r Thanks to Dr. Niccoli, I have someone I can rely on to treat what ails me (in his specialty) without judgement and with professionalism. Just a year ago, I couldn't walk for more than 5 mins without having foot pain, leg cramps and backache. I was scared out of my mind on how this was going to affect what I love doing for almost 10 years now which was producing large scale festival and events. Dr. Nicolli performed surgery for both feet that had bunions and tailor bunions. He also got me on customized foot support and told me the kind of shoes I had to wear from now on. Dr. Nicolli and the awesome women that work for him create such a well balance family atmosphere. Dr. Nicolli did such a great job that I passed with flying colors with him that I don't have to go back for another 10 years, unless I am crazy enough to start wearing stilettos. Dr. Niccoli's ability to understand a sport related injury makes him the best in his field; I was able to go back to running after believing that I would not be able to continue to do so due to the constant pain I was having. My experience was exceptional from the initial appointment to the diagnosis, to the treatment and follow-up. Dr. Niccoli was very thorough regarding the proposed procedure and what I could expect from the results. The surgery was performed at an out-patient surgery center that was very caring and professional. The recovery period was as I was told to expect and the results are truly wonderful. I had chronic foot pain that made distance walking troublesome. Two quick visits to Dr. Niccoli allowed me to walk for hours at trade shows without pain. He proved to be very knowledgable and quickly diagnosed the source of my pain. I'm very pleased with the outcome. They have a great staff. The nurse, Eliza, is cheerful, very capable and helpful. Their 'no-hassle' location in Alameda is also a plus. I'm sold. more

I found Dr. Nicolli through Google. I was going on a holiday in California and developed an ingrown toe nail before leaving Virginia. I made an appointment on the east coast and was seen the following afternoon on the west coast. Dr. Niccoli removed the toenail permanently: he performed surgery and saw me for a post-op visit in a week on the way home. His office staff was extremely accomodating, pleasent and supportive. I felt he went out of his way to care for me in a very unusual and unpleasent medical crisis. As an aside note, I am a registered nurse and was very impressed by his office, sterile techniques and assistants. They are an informed group of practitioners who are proud of their work and pass that reassurance on to their patients. Pros: I wrote a more thorough comment. Cons: There are none, except I wish he practiced in Virginia. more

I had been having a problem with my right foot for several years, and after moving to Alameda from Chicago, saw Dr. Niccoli's ad and made an appointment. Was very impressed with the friendliness and caring attitude of his staff when I made the appointment. On the day of the initial appointment, the staff made me feel welcome. The exam by Dr. Niccoli was first rate. He is friendly and caring. Goes the extra mile when explaining procedures and the recovery time - what to expect after surgery is completed. He answers all questions completely. And he has a great smile!! My experience was outstanding and I would highly recommend him. more
