Ohh my God why would they get new managment. This place is horrible. The waitresses gave me attitude because I wanted soysauce. The sushi chefs are not great. And the place looks like a second rate restaurant. Ive heard things about his restaurant from people that worked there and trust me it is not worth eting in there! Avoid this place, I should of read the latest review instead of jumping the gun. Pros: The parking lot is empty Cons: The food, the service, the managment, everything else. more

Well I went there for a birthday and we had reservations, we got there 20 minutes earlier than our reservations and didnt sit 1 hour after our reservation was complete. After we sat we ate and instead of the chef doing tricks and stuff he didnt do anything and hada gloomy face. Our waitresses were never around to refill our drinks and when we asked to speak to the manager she wasnt able to understand. I would really like to help people by telling them that this place is not worth the money or the time! Cons: Service, managment more

Located in the Mission Grove shopping center, Akina is one heck of a find for sushi lovers and for those just plain seeking a good time. Akina has talented chefs at their main dining hall and top notch sushi chefs at the bar. Just bring a little extra cash because this meal wont be cheap. Dont be fooled though, you get portions worth your buck! They even offer courses on making sushi! A great restaurant with a great atmosphere. A Must Try!
