When our heater broke this past winter I came to Insider Pages to find a good repair company. I called Air Tro based on the reviews and I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed....

Beware of excessive charges. Recently had technician check on the AC condenser. Very helpful and turns out a fuse had blown and damaged the disconnect box. He quoted me a repair...

Outrageous Repair Costs 8/25/2010

Beware of excessive charges. Recently had technician check on the AC condenser. Very helpful and turns out a fuse had blown and damaged the disconnect box. He quoted me a repair of over $400. I'm not an electrician but I wasn't buying that figure. I wrote a check for the $85 service visit and went to Home Depot and purchased the exact same disconnect box and fuses for $22 and spent 20 minutes on the simple replacement myself. AC working great again. Quite frankly, I felt those charges were beyond excessive. May be decent at diagnosis, but could be worth a second opinion in the long run. I have used them before and now wonder if I got taken then as well. more

Quick and Dependable 4/27/2006

When our heater broke this past winter I came to Insider Pages to find a good repair company. I called Air Tro based on the reviews and I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. They were able to send someone out within 24 hours to diagnose the problem. The part was ordered and the heater fixed within 3 days. They even came out on a Saturday to finish the job. Their service technicians were pleasant and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The cost seemed reasonable considering the job. A very helpful bonus: they were more than happy to call me when their technician was on the way. Thus I didn't have to miss more work than necessary. This was a pleasant surprise since most home care companies I have dealt with are resistant to call at best. PROS: Saturday appointments available CONS: more

Great company 3/23/2006

Andrew was on call for my house. He was knowledgable, polite and honest. He checked out why my furnace was not working, order the valve and when the valve turned out to be the wrong one, he drove out that day, no charge, to get the right one. Great company. more

GREAT 10/5/2005

We had to call an air conditioner repair during the height of the heat wave this past summer. Not being a very trusting person, I found Air Tro thru Insider Pages, and I have got to say that I am very pleased. They are Great. They've fixed our 20 year old airconditioner, just when we thought we were going to have to replace it............ PROS: eficient, knowledgable CONS: none that I can think of................ more
